It’s a fanciful Friday for us being that we have a slightly reduced team here at Plantae today – those of us that are here are very fancy indeed . As we’re heading into a long weekend many of our team have taken today as an extra day or ½ a day off . That’s right we, like the rest of New Zealand will be closed this Monday 28th October to enjoy and celebrate our national public holiday - Labour Day - . Here in New Zealand, Labour Day origins are traced back to the eight-hour working day movement that arose in the newly founded Wellington colony in 1840, primarily because of carpenter Samuel Parnell's refusal to work more than eight hours a day. It occurs to us that Samuel was a very sensible man so let’s all enjoy a wonderful 3 day weekend. Happy Holiday

It's the weekend and we know all our exceptional customers have a passion for protecting our planet that's why you're using Planate Certified Organic Skincare so it's no surprise at all to think that many of you will take time to surround yourself with nature. We're planing to surround & lose ourselves in the forest this glorious weekend, we hope you do too. When you're there what about indulging in a forest bath - oh yeah the Japanese have a word/term for all that a forest bath encompasses Shinrin-yoku - practically it is forest medicine. Spend your time enveloped in nature & breathe, feel the forest atmosphere healing you. Slow down, relax in the coolness & the quiet of our forests and enjoy. It's fabulous Friday. Beautiful Brooke (pictured here) is planning a weekend treat, contemplating what to use as part of her upcoming beauty pamper session. We wonder just what she'll choose ? We're hoping she'll spoil herself with both of the sublime cleansers, she's currently holding - go on it's more than justified by the beauticians "always double cleanse rule". As her first cleanse Brooke will use the Bergamot Orange Flower Cleansing Milk to remove make-up/sunblock & pollution, followed by the 2nd cleanse (that can now actually clean her skin) with the wonderful Ivy Cleansing Gel perfect to balance skin pH and regulate oil. Moving on to exfoliate,tone & moisturise with your choice of Plantae products. Simply sublime spa time !!!.
