Fiona | Sun and Moon Calendar

Meet Fiona, creator of the Sun and Moon Calendar, who will be offering 15-minute astrology readings at the expo.

Fiona discovered astrology nearly a decade ago and has been studying it enthusiastically ever since, drawn to it most of all as a tool for understanding our deeper selves. She lives here in Nelson, where she works as a music teacher, and brings a creative life of dance, songwriting and parenting to everything she does.

Her Sun and Moon Calendar is set out in lunar months, following the cycle that guided indigenous cultures all over the world, including our ancestors here in Aotearoa. It also tracks the planets, so you can see the larger energies at play and, in Fiona's words, "ride the waves with more confidence". If you have been longing for a more natural, earth-connected rhythm to your days, this is a simple place to start.

Come and say hello to Fiona for a reading, pick up a calendar, and follow Sun and Moon Calendar on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube for regular updates.

Angela | Love and Abundance Tarot NZ

Meet Angela, a qualified astrologer and intuitive tarot reader who will be offering tarot readings at the expo.

Angela brings both study and instinct to her readings. With her Sun, Moon and Mercury all in Capricorn she is grounded and practical, while her Aquarius rising and Life Path 7 give her the curiosity of a natural seeker, someone who is always looking beneath the surface for what is really going on. That mix makes for readings that are insightful and down to earth at the same time.

As her business name suggests, love and abundance sit at the heart of her work. If you have a question about a relationship, your direction or what is ready to open up for you next, a reading with Angela is a lovely way to gain some clarity and a fresh perspective.

Come and sit with Angela on the day and see what the cards have to say.

It's still crazy to me that October is spring in NZ!

I've got a whole bunch of fun things cooked up for this month.

Join me at the Expo, the Nelson Spiritualist Church or maybe it's time to book that reading you've been thinking about.

There's lots of ways to connect this month. See you soon. 🎃

Ange | Havening and Stained Glass Hearts

Meet Ange, who joins us at the expo with two offerings that share the same gentle intention: helping you feel a little more settled and cared for.

Havening is a soothing, touch-based technique that uses slow, comforting strokes on the arms, hands and face to help the body relax and let go of stress. It is simple, calming, and something many people find they can keep using for themselves long after the session ends.

Ange will also have stained glass hearts on her table, lovely pieces that catch the light and make a thoughtful gift, whether for someone you love or for yourself.

If you have been carrying a lot lately and could use a moment of calm, come and say hello to Ange on the day.

Kirstan | Inner Sense Healing

Free talk: Healing Frequencies from Our Environment | 2:10 – 2:40pm

Meet Kirstan from Inner Sense Healing, whose work centres on helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom and explore your truth on all levels, whether for yourself or for your animals.

Kirstan draws on a range of modalities including the Akashic Records, Angelic Reiki, Past Life Healing and Access Bars, channelling energy, messages and sound to support healing, clarity and deeper understanding.

She closes the talks programme with an invitation to listen more closely to the world around us. Kirstan will explore how we can become more receptive to messages and healing frequencies from the natural world, with a special focus on connecting with the frequencies of the ocean. If you have ever stood at the water's edge and felt something in you settle, this talk will help you understand why, and how to open to more of it.

Throughout the day Kirstan is offering 20-minute Discover Your Soul Self intro readings, as well as Discover Your Pet's Soul Self readings. She will also have her book Words from the Light available, alongside a selection of second-hand spiritual books.
