There are some sentences that I hear often

One of them is this - "I don't even know what I enjoy anymore."

Some say it with an embarrassed laugh, others it's a new realisation, one that can feel pretty confronting. Sure sometimes it's about what they do for fun, Often they have spent years responding to everyone else's needs before their own, been busy just getting through the day-to-day that somewhere along the way they stopped noticing what made them come alive.

I've seen it happen so many times over the years, and I know it form my journey too. What we find is that curiosity and openness can be such a beautiful way to start remembering what energises them, feeling that spark again within, losing track of time, having opportunities lined up to look forward to. That's why I am so passionate about joy, not just because it is one of my favourite feelings, but because it can often be a pointer, a compass, back to ourselves.

That's exactly what the **Aliveness Experiment** is about. - Not creating a different life overnight.

Simply helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been waiting very patiently to be noticed again.

If you've found yourself saying, "I don't even know what I enjoy anymore," I'd love you to come and explore that with us.

I don't think a lack of confidence is the biggest struggle most people face, I think it is losing their self-trust.

Rewriting that message, feeling panicky after making a decision, asking many people for their opinions, or google or AI, because somewhere along the way you have learnt that your thoughts, beliefs, opinions, ideas are not enough.
It's exhausting. I hear you! Sometimes it can be the seemingly smallest of choices that can be the hardest to get right, or for me it wasn't so much about getting it right, more about not getting it wrong!

One of the biggest things I've learned is that rebuilding self-trust doesn't happen by becoming the loudest voice in the room, and to be honest I am not of fan of faking it till you make it either. It happens in a quiet pause. Where you get to hear and listen to the wisdom within.

The wisdom of your body, heart, soul, mind and spirit and what they want to bring to the conversation. That's one of the reasons I created my Pitstop Sessions. But because sometimes we all need a space where someone listens, asks questions, and helps us to connect back to those parts of ourselves, our true self. Because from there, the next step can become so much clearer. If your mind has been noisy lately, perhaps it's time for a pitstop.

A chance to pause, make sense of the noise, reconnect with the wisdom within and leave with clarity about your next steps...

Fawn is often put down as people pleasing, needing approval, can be how we try and get a sense of self-worth, keep others happy. What I have come to see is that it can be a way to try and belong, to fit in, to be a part of. If somewhere along the way we learnt that love, acceptance or inclusion depended on being helpful, easy-going, agreeable or low maintenance, our nervous system adapted. It learnt to ignore warning signs, to avoid conflict, to be useful, because that translated to safety. Yet we can beat ourselves up about it, and/or even run ourselves ragged or burn out from trying to be here, there and everywhere for everyone.

What can happen though is that we become so focused on those 'opportunities' we lose sight of our needs, let alone our desires. The solution? The pause. Taking that split second (or longer if needed) to check in and see what is actually going on, to help the nervous system feel safe and then make a decision from your true self. One Pause and Check-In at a time, and then another and then another.
As you will start to see how many times in the day that this may be playing out... Your energy levels, feelings, values, thoughts and boundaries deserve a place in the conversation too.

Belonging isn't earned by performing, proving, pleasing or putting up with, ie making everyone else feel safe and comfortable. It's about remembering that you don't have to abandon yourself in order to have a place.

You already belong.

You always have done. Time to take your place at the table?
Keen to understand more about your protective patterns and what might be playing out.

Why not book a pitstop session?

One of the biggest misconceptions I come across is that people think they're coming to coaching because they need more confidence, more motivation, better habits. What I have found through ten years of coaching, is that those are rarely the issue.

What we often find is that over time they have become disconnected from themselves. Little by little life has become about responsibilities, looking after everyone else, roles, dependents, duties. Until one day they realise they don't know what lights them up anymore. They can't think how to have fun or what self-care they enjoy. So the journey isn't around achieving, accomplishing, more goals, more motivational whatevers. It's about reconnection and connection can be rebuilt.

The coaching journey can be about helping people reconnect with their courage, their curiosity, their values, their sense of fun, their community. Most importantly, reconnecting with themselves. And just like little by little we can lose ourselves, little by little we can rebuild ourselves too.

That's why I've created the Aliveness Experiment.

An opportunity to experience what I've watched happen in coaching conversations for years, an opportunity to discover that aliveness isn't something you find, not something you need to be out there searching for, but something that we can create, one small choice at a time.

If that sounds like exactly what your heart and soul have been longing for, I'd love you to join us.

Coming back to life doesn’t need to be dramatic!

Sometimes it’s booking the ticket, driving a different way home, saying yes to the coffee.

Tiny yeses matter.

This message is for the part of you that knows there’s something else, that may not, and doesn’t need to, know the full picture of what it could look like, but knows enough to make that small choice…

What’s one tiny yes you could give yourself today?

Maybe this upcoming long weekend is for slowing down, some reflection, some noticing…

Notice:-

The decision that keeps circling.
The wobble that keeps upsetting things…
The want that you haven’t given yourself permission to have.
Where the tanks feel low.

And if you feel it would be helpful, you can book in for a free 30 minute PitStop Session.

A space to pause, top up the tanks and get on the next steps.

Bring whatever you’re navigating, that decision, that wobble, that want, that goal that isn’t quite happening yet or a place you feel stuck - and we can use the time to see what could be some options for you right now.

This is not a sales call, I’ll be in full coaching mode to help you leave with clarity and a practical next step on your path.

And if you’re feeling weary and you feel this might add a zillion more things to your list, please know that the next step might actually be about

Rest
Putting some boundaries in place
Simplifying
Making a kinder choice
Or letting something go…

Use the weekend to notice
Then book your PitStop in for next week.

Or book the PitStop in first and then spend the weekend getting clues for what you want to bring to the session!

Link is in the bio or DM me and I will send it to you.

Just as our phones record how much time we spend on apps etc, imagine if there was a way of recording how much time was spent turning down opportunities, waiting until, waiting until we are more confident, the ducks are in a row, we have more money, the kids leave home, we have more figured out.

What if life is wanting to date this version of you? Is inviting you to join it now? Believes you are enough as you are and is tired of you turning down invitation after invitation…

What if right now, it is lining up some BEAUTIES for you, in the hope that you will start saying yes to life more! A sunset, a random bumping into someone, a great coffee, the smell of a bunch of flowers.
Yes, there can be a time for goals, study, life admin, looking after others, saving money and all that, but not at the detriment of living life along the way..

Because as the cliche says, one day we’ll realise that those ordinary moments were never ordinary at all and perhaps aliveness begins when we stop waiting for the right moment, for everything to be perfect, for everything to be lined up, and start saying yes to life!
