After 17 years of owning and growing 2 different salons and nearly 25yrs in the industry - I have made the incredibly emotional decision to sell Sabin.

This has not been an easy decision - In fact something I have put off for the last 2yrs. Sabin has been such a huge part of my life - a place where I’ve had the privilege of creating, laughing and sharing countless special moments with so many of you. I’m beyond grateful for the loyalty and support of our amazing clients , many of whom have been with me from the very beginning. You have trusted me not only with your hair but also with your stories, your milestones and your friendships. For that, I’ll be forever thankful.

I also want to acknowledge my incredible team - past and present. Who have helped make the salon what it is today. Their passion, talent and friendship has made Sabin more than a workplace - it’s been a family.

I’m incredibly excited to share that Rhea has purchased the salon. After all these years working side by side and her being my first ever apprentice I couldn’t be prouder to see her take this next step. Watching her grow into the talented, passionate stylist and leader she is today fills me with pride and emotion.

Alongside this change, I’ve also made the personal decision to step back to smaller hours in the salon. No longer working late nights or Saturday’s. As much as I love my work , I’m feeling the pull to be more present for our children’s busy lives - their sport and dance and all the moments that pass too quickly I want to soak up this special time before they are teenagers and need us a little less.
As I move into this next chapter, I’m also excited to be joining our family business which will allow me to find a better balance between my passion for hairdressing and family life.
So from 1st Dec you will still see me at Rheas salon, running my own business within her salon just with different hours from Jan 2026.

While it’s bittersweet to close the chapter I do so with a full heart, grateful for every person, every memory and experience this journey has brought me.

Thank you - from the bottom of my heart, for being such an important part of my story.

As many of you know, Tayla will soon be going on maternity leave. While we are thrilled for her, this has made our appointment schedule even tighter than usual.

We are currently fully booked for late nights and Saturdays through the end of the year. We understand this is frustrating however we are doing everything we can to accommodate all appointments, as we juggle a very full calendar and our own very busy lives with young families.

If you haven’t already booked your appointments, we highly recommend doing so as soon as possible and making sure your aware that if you need to reschedule an apt it may be a tricky task to do so.

After 15yrs of working together, growing up together, being there for each other the time has come that Rhea is now on her journey 🖤 I couldn’t be prouder of the hairdresser she has become 🍯 It’s been a ride


My daughter summed it up beautifully “mum you taught her how to be a hairdresser and now she’s knows everything and it’s time for her to do it herself “

All of our suppliers from July 1st have increased so we have no choice but to reflect this also.
We try to keep this a minimum where we can and as always appreciate your support 🖤

Today we said goodbye to our Jackie as she heads off on her overseas adventure living in Perth 💫
It’s been our absolute pleasure to guide and watch her grow into the amazing hairdresser that she is today 🤍🖤

Price Increase
As we are all aware price increases are everywhere. We try and keep these to a minimum, however our suppliers have all increased as of 1st Feb.
So from 1st Feb our prices will also reflect this.
