Paul Norton Fitness . With over 5000 hour's of 1-1 coaching i have a lot of experience in the fitness field. I don't claim to know everything and we are always learning.

When we start any fitness goal it is always that starting point that we struggle with. My aim is to make the fitness industry simple and educate people as best i can. Fitness should be viewed as a fun hobbies that shouldn't involve giving up the good treats in life, but so many people fear fitness and think that making change involves 8 hours a day in the gym and eating chicken and lettuce for lif

e, WELL ITS NOT. You can lose weight by eating chocolate everyday,(don't very healthy) but it about small changes over a longer period. We need to learn the basics and evolve and improve along the way. I have created a online platform to share information to my clients but also help as many people as i can. Everyone has a different way of doing things but what has worked for me and the clients i have trained is accountability and having the basics set right from the start.

Here’s a few amazing people who’ve came through the program

I want to highlight that the real result isn’t the before and after photos, it’s the confidence and self worth each and every person gained

That to me, it’s the most important factor in all of this

It’s not about getting super shredded not is it about restricting your food to the point you hate eating..

The results you see here, have come from the basics been done right

Building better habits around nutrition and movement

Eating foods for enjoyment rather than eating to lose weight

Of course they needed to be in a deficit, but it was the mindset shift we had around this that mattered the most

I wasn’t too sure about posting this…

The last few week have been noting short of a shi # show…

Travelling to Spain with my dog Ellie…..house dramas and mi car deciding it needs a new gearbox……

My fitness dropped and I was struggling to do any sort of cardio…

Picked up an injury so couldn’t train as hard…..

And then add in scrolling and comparing myself to others, it felt like I was going backwards….

Especially being in Spain and seeing others in incredible shape…..

It wasn’t until my coach told me to look back at where I came from….

Looking back at the Paul who was nearly 40kg heavier, wearing XL shirts, and would be out of breath walking up the stairs…

That used to be me 🤯

It’s easy look at others and tell yourself how terrible you’re doing because you don’t look like them…

Everyone has their own story, and the most important thing is where YOU started and how far you’ve come rather than not were you think you should be 🙌

Here’s some hard lessons I’ve learnt when I went back farming….

I’m was tired….

I’m was a grumpy pain in the back side….

And I’dforgotten what day of the week it is…

I heard someone mention the word weekends today, and I replied…. What are those??

The whole reason I’m sharing this with you is to hopefully inspire you to believe in yourself again….

To believe that you actually have more time that you think to work on your health and fitness….

To focus on your well- being….

Whether it’s making food to fuel your body…

Or gyming at 10pm at night time…

Or doing a home workout in your bedroom at 5am in the bedroom…

You can alway find something that will benefit your health in some shape or form…

I know it can be overwhelming so I’ve made a high protein list along with the exact blueprint I’m using to stay on track..

When I say I get it, I really do get it…

Having lost over 35kg with my own journey, I know what it’s feels like to wake up every single and not love what you see in the mirror

I battled for years doing the yo yo diets and doing the latest fads and restrictive trends

Years of telling myself I couldn’t have ice cream or almonds croissants…..

I had this idea that health and fitness was all about how you looked and being super lean….

But having lost both my parents who were young and watching them struggle with their health and fitness for years…

I’ve come to realise health and fitness goes beyond a number on the scales

I’ve lost over 35kg without having to give up almond croissants or ice-cream, and the secret has been to focus on health and not the scales nor a number

Im eating more of the good stuff and not the bad stuff…..and yes I am calling sweets and chocolates and junk foods are not good…..

I started building better habits around my nutrition, eating food for heath and energy instead of a “ weight loss goal, or a scale number..

I started to to exercise for my mental health and used it as a self care mechanism, I done stuff I like and it became a part of my lifestyle, rather than a chore

I stopped chasing numbers on the scales and stated started a better lifestyle instead

And as a result I’ve lost over 35kg and got into the best shape of my life, physically but also mentally…..

I don’t believe in restrictive diets or giving up the foods you love

Health and fitness is not about a number on scales, and it doesn’t dictate your happiness

I’ve come to realise that health and fitness is about living a happy and healthy fulfilled life

One that has you waking up full of energy without feeling self conscious in your own skin

Things I’ve learnt the hard way with my own struggles and seeing both my parents struggle with their health and fitness before they passed away

It can be so easy to look at someone on instagram and think they have it all together….

I had someone messsge me saying I look to have my live on great order 🙄

Most of the time, I don’t know my arse from my elbow 🤣

But I’ve learnt a lot over the years….

Losing both parents, losing over 35kg myself, and going through all sorts of mental challenges….

Health and fitness should be health and wellbeing….

Our wellbeing is the most important thing and it’s something a lot of people overlook….

I did for years…….

Looking after your physical well-being will be the biggest thing you can ever do for your health….

That is the starting point….

It’s the foundations that everything sits on……

The rest will follow suit when you have a solid foundation…

Here’s a hard truth that you might need to hear, and it took me years me actually admit this…

It’s ok to be proud of your results…..

It’s ok to look in the mirror and say “ wow, I look good “

For years, I’d feel guilty for looking in the mirror and smiling at what I’d seen back…

If I had my top off, I’d feel “ egotistical “ and I had this fear of people judging me….

And guess what….

This actually does more harm than good, because we stop trying and we don’t push to the next level….

All because we fear the more we change, the more we’ll be judged by others….

Next thing is, we fall back onto old habits, and our hard work is undone…

It’s happened to me so many times before, until I let myself be proud of the rusults I’d achieved…

The biggest thing that holds people back is the opinion of others…

Be proud of the results you’ve worked hard to get, no matter how big or small….

And let that drive you to go on and achieve better and better things…..

You are the driver and you decided where and how far you take this…..

Remember, when you change and become a better version of yourself, some people may try and take you down….

The only thing that matters is you, and you only 🙌

I’ve not really shared this, and it’s very much out of line comfort zone.
