๐ŸŒŸ Friendly Faces Friday (But its Wednesday, and shes in store today!)๐ŸŒŸ

This week, meet Jodi, our wonderful nurse! ๐Ÿ’š

Jodi works with us one day a week and has quickly become a really important part of our team.

She's incredibly passionate about healthcare and, in particular, about making healthcare more accessible to people who need it most. Jodi has been instrumental in helping us develop our plans to expand rural healthcare access, and we're pretty sure her brain is permanently overflowing with ideas! ๐Ÿ˜‚

What we love most is that Jodi doesn't just see healthcare as something that happens inside a traditional medical setting. She's always thinking about how we can do things differently, bring more services into our community, and make it easier for people to get the care they need without having to wait or travel miles to find it.

We're incredibly lucky to have someone with Jodi's passion, experience and enthusiasm alongside us as we keep working to bring more healthcare options to our community.

Thanks for everything you do, Jodi. We're so glad you're part of the Ngatea Pharmacy team! ๐Ÿ’š

And now you know a little more about the woman behind the clinic! ๐Ÿ˜„

Sore throat? Don't wait.

A sore throat might seem like a minor illness, but for some tamariki it can lead to serious complications if left untreated.

If your child has a sore throat, come in early and get it checked. A simple throat swab and prompt treatment, if needed, can help prevent rheumatic fever.

At Ngatea Pharmacy we offer fully funded sore throat assessment, swabbing and treatment for eligible Mฤori and Pacific tamariki and rangatahi (4โ€“19 years).

๐Ÿ’š No appointment needed.
๐Ÿ’š Quick assessment and treatment if needed while you wait.
๐Ÿ’š Helping protect the health of our community.

If you're unsure whether your child is eligible, just ask our freindly team.
