✨ Te Whānau Mānihera Fundraiser ✨

Haruru Falls Retreat felt truly honoured to host and support this incredible Kapa Haka group as they prepare to journey across the moana, representing Te Tai Tokerau in Australia at the Buuluunggal Festival on Gumbaynggirr Country 🌏💚

With beautiful support from 14-year-old Ezra on the keys and the Hokianga Jazz group - reuniting to play again after many years - the evening was filled with talent, connection, and deep aroha.

Ngā mihi nui to the 64 guests who came along to support, and to everyone who contributed - with around 85 people gathering in total for this special kaupapa.

We’re so grateful to have shared this space with you all, and we look forward to following your journey across the ocean. We hope to welcome you back again in the future 🌿✨

🌿 Its the school holidays and we are happy to be hosting a special fundraiser next Thursday evening ✨

Te Whānau Manihera are preparing to journey across the ocean, representing Te Tai Tokerau in Australia at the Buuluunggal Festival on Gumbaynggirr Country. This is more than a trip - it’s a powerful cultural exchange, where rangatahi will connect, perform, and visit the first local language immersion school.

The Whānau have given so much of their time and energy to uplift our communities here in the north - now it’s our turn to uplift them.
