When gambling is in your pocket, there’s nowhere it can’t reach. 📱

Our rangatahi are growing up online, so how do we keep them safe?

Maybe it’s time we talked about it.

This is gambling harm!

Gambling harm doesn’t just affect one person, it affects the whole whānau. It can impact our relationships, wellbeing, and the overall health of our whānau.

We feel privileged to be welcomed into spaces where whānau are reconnecting with what matters, and to be able to share important kōrero along the way. 🩵 Ngā mihi nui Ngāti Rarawhati

Let’s keep our rangatahi safe online!

Maybe it’s we talked about it 🗣️

Ko Ngāti Rarawhati Kapa Haka tēnei, coming together with us for our Disconnect to Reconnect Campaign as they prepare for Ngāti Awa Te Toki 🩵💙💛

We shared kōrero about Gambling Harm and the impact it can have on our whānau but more importantly we shared what helps us find our way back

Back to our people.
Back to our culture.
Back to our whenua.
Back to the things that matter.

Because when gambling starts taking up space in our lives, it can take us away from the very things that give us strength.

More to come….

Disconnect from what harms us.
Reconnect to what matters.

When did online gambling become “normal” for our rangatahi?

It’s in our feeds.
It’s on our screens.
It’s being made to look like entertainment, excitement and just another part of everyday life.

But what happens when “normal” starts to have harmful consequences?

Maybe it’s time we talked about it. 🗣️
