This is what 21 days inside ROAR Regulate looks like.

Five stages. One audio per day. Gentle, progressive, body-based.

You have a window of tolerance.
After narcissistic abuse, it shrinks.

This is why small things feel overwhelming. This is why you tip into anxiety or shutdown faster than you think you should. This is not weakness.

You miss them.
And you cannot make sense of it.
Because they hurt you.
Because you know what they are.
Because you have read every article and understand it intellectually.

And still — you miss them.

This is not a character flaw.
This is neurochemistry.

The trauma bond is a physiological attachment, not a rational one. Your brain bonded to the highs of the cycle — the love bombing, the reconciliation, the hope.

Missing them does not mean you want to go back.
It means your nervous system is grieving an attachment formed under extraordinary stress.

You are not weak.
You are wired.
And wiring can change.

There will come a day when calm does not feel like a warning.
When silence is just silence.
When a still morning is not the quiet before something breaks.

You will drive somewhere without mentally preparing for conflict.
You will eat a meal and taste it.
You will make plans more than one day ahead — and believe they might actually happen.

The nervous system that learned to live in chaos can learn something different.

It takes time.
It takes the right work.

But calm — real calm — is not just for other people.
It is for you too.

Nobody tells you about the confusion.
They tell you leaving is the hard part.
And it is.

But then comes the strange season after.

When you are free but you do not feel free.
When you miss someone who hurt you deeply.
When you question what was real and what was not.
When you feel guilty for leaving.
When you wonder if you imagined it.

This is not weakness.
This is not love.

This is what happens to a nervous system that was kept in survival mode for a long time.

The confusion is not a sign that you made the wrong choice.
It is a sign that you survived something real.

A trauma bond is not love.
But it feels like love.

And that is exactly what makes it so hard to leave — and so hard to explain to anyone who has not been through it.

Swipe to understand the neuroscience of why it happens. ➡️

Real words from real women.

"The profound difference is the nervous-system regulation, not just providing coping mechanisms."
— Susie, New Zealand

"The best decision I made for myself was signing up to ROAR. I am the strongest and happiest I have ever been in my life. I would pray daily for the trauma bond to stop — Margarita was the driving force of this."
— Nat, Auckland, New Zealand

Why you apologise before you have done anything wrong

You say sorry before you have done anything wrong.
You soften your tone before the conversation has even started.
You monitor their face, their energy, their mood — before you have said a single word.
You make yourself smaller in rooms where you used to take up space.

This is not who you are.
This is who you learned to be in order to stay safe.

And somewhere, deep in your nervous system, that learning is still running.

You are not broken.
You are adapted.
And adaptation can be unlearned.
