We need your help! Do you know someone who's made a real difference in the life of a disabled person or their whānau? We'd love to hear about them.

Nominations are open until 31 July for our inaugural Enabling Good Lives Awards, celebrating people and organisations who have helped disabled people have more choice, control and freedom over their lives.

We're looking for examples of Enabling Good Lives in action over the past year across five categories: Housing, Education, Employment, Health and Wellbeing, and Disability Supports.

Maybe your child's school found new ways to support their learning and feel more included in class.

Or your organisation worked with neurodiverse employees to introduce accommodations for all neurodiverse team members.

What about a landlord who supported you to make your home more accessible?

Or a community group that helped your whānau feel more connected and empowered?

If someone comes to mind, why not nominate them? Not only will the winners get recognised for their good work, but they’ll get a prize too! You can also nominate yourself or your own organisation.

All you need to do is send us a written statement (up to 400 words) or a short video (up to 2 minutes). Nominations close on Friday 31 July 2026.
