Stand up and deliver!
I love a good challenge 😌 🤪
The universe is delivering one after another.
Best part is I can easily scoop up those and I am looking for more.

This morning I have been asked to speak to my Industry colleagues. Without hesitation the answer was yes! Followed by "What I am I speaking about"?

I feel really comfortable public speaking its something I have been asked to do many times on all sorts of topics.

Once again Brownies, Girl Gudies and Rangers speaking badges were helpful. In my 20's and 30's I compared large Fashion Parades and Bridal shows with Mike West, local Radio personality. That was always fun 😁

Also many many Beauty Industry and sales events over the years.

My largest crowd was over 300. That was abit nerve racking it was the mirc pinned to my clothes that rattled me 🙃 🙄.

At the local Ucol I was a student, guest speaker, lecturer and on the Business Advisory Board. Presentations where a regular occurrence.

I have also lectured at BHB Academy ( Barbering, Hairdressing and Beauty ) recently as a one month fixed term to help out. My Beauty students call into my current work place let me know their career and life progression. Also the local Herb Farm I went to cover a 3 hour shift for a unwell team member in the shop. I left 7 months later.
I also enjoyed teaching Adult Aromatherapy workshops and the childerns art classes.

Of course I had my own Beauty Health and Wellness business for 30 years so speaking/ leadership was a daily event.

So speaking to my colleagues it will be a walk in the park. Relaxed easy and fun 😁

Personal growth is always welcomed in my world 🌎 ❤️

My training wheels are still on.
I am learning from the best people in the industry.
Queitly stepping through processes and steps to achieve my goals.

My 4th month for my Clarins counter has just completed 🙌 ( Its a different timeline).
I have smashed my goals/ targets for the month.
I am humbly grateful as I know I have so much more to learn. My timeline is just getting started and confidence is growing.

Deep graditude to everyone chosing to visit my Clarins counter. I genuinely love meeting people and support selfcare rituals.
Beautiful natural skincare, selecting make up to enhance and the most gorgeous lush selfcare products to pamper, restore and calm the body mind and soul.

Behind the scenes
Its a big team to get to know. Many have been on staff for along time. Being a newbie has been fabulous. Everyone is extremely helpful and patient as I am learning the huge nationwide system. Also Clarins is an International Company with their own system.
I am blessed to have a Clarins uniform which is corporate selection of interchangable garments in colours of black, red and white.
Beautiful classic designs.

I do laugh at my self not everything is perfect!
I did lose my name badge twice. Those magnet accessories are tricky.
Lean close to the metal back of your counter and you are suddenly suctioned lol 😆
A team mate found my badge under a desk.
Gosh that sounds really dodgy lol 😆 😂

Seriously good to know I can be returned to my counter if I get lost 😏

I am on counter today Saturday and then have Sunday/ Monday off. A well deserved break.

Emotional Intelligence - Updated
One O one
Today was a case of negotiations and humour with my grandson.

Its been a big weekend for him. He arrived to my home this morning in his Pyjamas Pjs.
Tired with a headache, sore body and alittle run down.

So Nanmar had to pull all the magic out and make the morning fun.

Breakfast, warm lemon and honey drink.
Hot shower fresh clothes.
Fruit, hot scone, a chicken kebab and he was still hungry.
We have agreed on pancakes next Monday.
Over the weekend he had go cart racing with his Mum whilst I babysat his baby brother over night.
Hockey on Sunday. His team won.
I love that he playes a team sport.
Its great for his sense of community.
Teaches leadership.
Verbal and non verbal skills
Fitness
How to win and lose gracefully.
So many postives.
He also loves soccer like his Uncle Riki no longer earthside but always present.
Riki would be proud 👏

So Mr grumpy 😠 was struggling with self regulation with his low mood this morning.

I explained that he couldn't go to school grumpy because thats not fair to the other childern.
On the drive to school we played his favorite song. This resets mind and energy vibes.
I purposely parked next to an over grown tree 🌳 🙃
I told him because he was having a bad day now I was too. So he would have to climb into to the tree to exit the car 🚗 🙄
He half smiled no teeth rolled his eyes.
I moved the car forward lol 😆
He said I will race you.
Dam he got ahead start.
I drive he runs to the the school gate.

He won the race 🏆
With a Big smile and a 👋 he walked into the school grounds with his friend

Nanmar smiled 😃
Hes growing up.
We both won this morning
Graditude for the precious time I can gift to my grandsons.
I am blessed 🙌 😇 🙏

I am off for along walk with a friend, Sarah Bradnock along the river🧡
Bounce the dog will keep us busy.
It will be a debrief as she Conducted an orchestra for an entire concert for the first time over the weekend.

Update 3.30pm
After school Grandson ran into my home.
Big hug and really happy.
I had the best day Nanmar.
He left with a chocolate Freddeo frog and hot sausage rolls for his families afternoon snack.

Good luck for your Cross Country tomorrow.
(It will be interesting Nanmar was a interschool representative and his Mum wore a Bob Marley Wig/ costume, walking across the line helping the last person home. To a cheering crowd.

So he will choose how that race unfolds.

Quiet little celebrations 🍾

I am celebrating outstanding customer service.
As a bonus I have won the lucky team weekly draw ( The Clifford jar).
Its just alittle game to acknowledge significant customer service over the week.

I have always been a self starter, self motivated and secretly love a personal challenge.
I know this is hard wired from my sporting background.

My little win was a great consultation with a customer with an update on Make up for a mature professional woman. After listening carefully to my client we agreed on her outcome/ look.
I applied a professional make- up transfering from day to a glamorous evening look.

Bless my client absolutely loved both options.
I ask what would she like to take home.
She brought every item.
To date my highest retail $ on Clarins counter.
She return next day very happy and brought more.

Graditude for the stars being aligned.
Years of intitution and spealized training.

I believe in more Education for woman.
This is why I have offered to cover a shift on Mothers Day. One of my colleagues needs to submit her University Paper ASAP.
I have offered to be on counter today so she can complete her paper.

I remember when I studied many woman supported my journey. I was a Mum to 2 young daughters, I had business, and was a director in other.I support other Woman in my community through different organizations.
I had many beautiful woman encouraging me to success 🙌
It takes an entire village to raise a child and support a Mother. I was blessed with smiles, conversations, meals, transportation, childcare tech support, flowers from gardens, knitting, baking all different kinds of care.
Graditude to all the Woman who wrapped around myself and my family.
