Optimal Health is own and operated by Katrina Fovakis who has been in the Fitness Industry for over 20 years. Qualifications: Diploma in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Diploma in Exercise Physiology, Diploma in Naturopathy, Certificate in Massage, Certificate Level 3 Thump Boxing, Certificate Gymstick Muscle. Create changes in your lifestyle that are achievable to maintain long term and be con

sistent. Small steps in the right direction is all it takes to get started and then build on it until it is just part of your life. I provide the support, knowledge and variety to enable clients to achieve a healthier life. Exercise for health number one, the rest will follow though is up to the individual to take control and responsibility for their own health. I am merely there to encourage, support and hold clients accountable until they are able to count on themselves. I also offer massage to help ease aches and pains and find it a rewarding challenge to work holistically to help people feel better. Recently I graduated in Biodynamic Craniosacral (BCST) which is an extension on helping people towards better health through a supportive, gentle hands on therapy helping with self awareness and self regulation of the nervous system that brings about inner balance and well being on many levels.

Pausing is more than simply stopping for a moment.

When we intentionally pause, we're sending a message to our body that it's safe to slow down.

We're telling our nervous system it doesn't need to stay on high alert, rush from task to task, or constantly be in "go" mode.

In today's world, that's a real skill.
I know this firsthand. Right now, with work, preparing for an overseas trip, packing, and managing all the little things that come with life, the to-do list feels long. It's easy to keep pushing through.

But pausing isn't a luxury. It's a necessity.

When we pause, we help regulate the nervous system, conserve energy, create mental clarity, and support the body's natural ability to heal and restore.

This isn't airy-fairy self-care—it's giving your brain and body exactly what they need to function well.
If you're feeling overwhelmed, consider this your gentle reminder: stop, pause, and be present, even if it's just for one minute.

One conscious minute can change the way you move through the rest of your day.

When things align ✨

Tonight, my wonderful friend Kathi and I held our first Breathe and Be class, and wow — we came away with hearts so full.

Nineteen beautiful people gifted themselves the time and space to come, learn how to breathe more deeply, connect within, and experience their own sacred space through meditation.

We loved every moment. The energy in the room, the connections made, and the stories shared were truly special.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came, for your openness, your feedback, and for allowing yourselves the opportunity to simply BE.

This is just the beginning...

Busy. Tired. Run down. Feeling like you can never quite get on top of the to-do list?

Kathi will guide you through diaphragmatic breathing, helping you access deeper, more expansive breathing patterns, while I'll support you in understanding how breath and nervous system regulation work together to create greater calm, ease, and resilience.
