Just when she thought…

“Nothing is working. It’s too hard. I have no idea what to do…”

She remembered the promise she made to herself:

No matter the challenges, I will never give up on me.

And just like that… something shifted.
Not because everything changed, but because she changed the way she looked at it.

We all have moments when we question ourselves, feel stuck or wonder, “What am I doing?”

But what if today was the day something shifted for you?

Maybe everything changes… or maybe just one small thing.

Sometimes that one small shift is enough to keep you moving forward.

Don’t give up on yourself.

You are capable.
You are worthy.
And your dreams are worth pursuing.

Self-care is also choosing to believe in yourself — especially on the days when it feels hard.

Follow the journey for inspiration & self connection ✨️

Sometimes it’s not until we stop… pause… and actually ask ourselves this question that we realise just how disconnected we may have become.
Disconnected from ourselves.

From how we truly feel.
From what we need.
From our purpose, our joy and what lights us up.

And even from the environment and world around us.

So, take a moment today and ask yourself…
✨ How connected do I feel to me?
✨ Have I actually taken the time to feel?
✨ Do I feel connected to who I am, why I’m here and what I’m doing?
✨ Or am I simply moving through the motions?

If you’re feeling any kind of disconnection, perhaps this is your invitation to pause.

This Sunday, I’m running my Spring Self-Care Reset Masterclass — 90 minutes dedicated to reconnecting to YOU, exploring what genuinely works for you, gaining clarity around where you are now, and identifying the steps that will help you move forward.

What can a blind ostrich teach us about how we live our lives?

Quite a lot, as it turns out.

In this week’s Press Pause Podcast, we are joined by Dr. Hayley Squance, author, speaker and emergency management specialist, to talk about her beautiful children’s book Stargazer: — inspired by a real ostrich she cared for many years ago.
But this story is about so much more than an ostrich.

It’s a beautiful reminder of what we can miss when we’re constantly rushing… and what becomes possible when we slow down, pay attention and see things differently.

✨ What if pausing allowed you to notice more?
✨ What connections might you be missing?
✨ And what could you experience if you simply slowed down enough to see?

This is such a inspiring conversation, and one we think will leave you with plenty to reflect on.

Be sure to follow the Stargazer story via the link in show notes.

I’ve got 45 minutes of office space in my car today, so I’m taking that little pocket of time for myself — getting some work done, ticking a few things off my list, and then heading off to watch my daughter play netball.

And this is something I’ve really been focusing on lately when it comes to self-care…

It’s about prioritising blocks and chunks of time to get things done.
If it’s not booked into your diary, it can so easily not get done.

I’ve been tidying up my diary and being much more intentional about how I use my time. It means I can be more productive, get the little things done, and avoid constantly running around chasing my tail.

Self-care doesn’t always mean having hours to yourself.

Sometimes it’s simply making the most of the time you do have and intentionally making yourself a priority.

What could you block out in your diary this week that would help you feel a little more organised, productive and on top of things?

The step most people skip when trying to make themselves a priority.

We all know the things we should be doing for our health and wellbeing — eating well, staying hydrated, moving our bodies, getting enough rest, making time for ourselves.

But knowing what to do isn’t always the problem.

The step most people skip is getting clear on your vision and your WHY.

Because when you know what you want to feel like, how you want to live, and what really matters to you, it becomes so much easier to make yourself a priority.

Your vision becomes your foundation.

And self-care doesn’t have to mean adding another long list of things to your already busy life. It’s about finding the things that are right for you, realistic for you, and actually doable.

That’s exactly what we’ll be exploring in my upcoming Spring Self-Care Reset Masterclass

📅 Sunday 13th September
⏰ 3:30–5:00pm
💻 Online | 90 minutes
💰 $27

This will be an interactive session where you’ll have the space to pause, reflect, get clear on your WHY, create a vision that feels relatable and meaningful to YOU, and walk away with one simple step you can actually put into practice.

No overwhelming to-do list.

No “I’ll start Monday.”

Just a simple, personalised approach to putting YOU back on the priority list.

If you’re ready to get clear on what putting yourself first actually looks like for you, I’d love you to join me.

Self-care is about caring for yourself in a way that helps you feel more balanced.

But balance doesn't look the same for everyone.

It's about doing enough for you. Feeling how you want to feel. Working towards the goals that matter to you. And creating a life that feels right for you.

Stop comparing what self-care should look like and start asking yourself:

✨ What do I need right now?
✨ What helps me feel like me?
✨ What would feeling balanced look like in my life?

Your self-care is personal. Make it yours.
