PIERCD IS CLOSED

It is with a very heavy heart that I've made the incredibly difficult decision to close PIERCD.

This is something I've gone back and forth with for a long time, and it hasn't been an easy decision to make.

PIERCD has been so much more than just a business to me. It's something I've poured my heart, soul, time and energy into building. From starting out in my little home studio to growing into something I once only dreamed of, I'm incredibly proud of how far I've come.

Along the way, I've met some amazing people, built beautiful connections and created memories I'll forever be grateful for.

But behind the scenes, being a single mother of four young boys and running a small business comes with challenges that aren't always visible. I've given so much of myself to keeping everything going, and I've reached a point where I need to put my own wellbeing and my family first.
As heartbreaking as this decision is, I know that sometimes closing one chapter is necessary to make room for another.
To every single person who has supported me, booked an appointment, recommended my work, shared my posts or simply encouraged me along the way, thank you. You have all played a part in making PIERCD what it is today.
I'm walking away with so much knowledge, experience and gratitude, and most importantly, knowing that I gave this business everything I had.

A little personal update 🤍

This has been a really difficult decision for me to make, but I’ve realised that right now I need to take a little time to prioritise my mental health and look after myself.

I put so much of myself into my work and into the people around me, and lately I’ve realised that I haven’t been leaving enough for myself.
I’m not completely going anywhere, and PIERCD isn’t disappearing. 🤍
I’m simply taking a small step back, slowing things down and giving myself some much-needed time, love and care.

There may be reduced hours and availability while I find my feet again, so please be patient with me if replies take a little longer or appointments are more limited than usual.

This business means so much to me, and I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has booked with me, supported me, recommended me or simply followed along.
Sometimes looking after yourself has to come before pushing yourself to keep going.
For now, I’m choosing to listen to what I need. 🤍

Thank you for understanding, supporting me and giving me the space to take care of myself.

One of our lovely returning clients back in the studio ✨

After a lot of patience, healing and careful aftercare, we were finally able to downsize her cheek piercings to create the cutest subtle dimple effect. They suit her perfectly 🖤

Cheek piercings can definitely be a journey, so it’s always so rewarding seeing them settle beautifully once the swelling has fully subsided and healing is complete. She has done such an amazing job throughout the whole process and the results speak for themselves 👏

This client’s first time in at PIERCD today and we had the best time designing her ear stack together!
We swapped out her lobe jewellery for some super cute huggies, then added two fresh piercings with titanium upgrades - a conch and a classic (but still cute) helix ✨
