Even with the gentleness of the water flow, magic light (and estuary ngā manu) - the appearance of calm - everything changes second by second. Do you wear your traumas like armour? Would you rather be like a river as it meets the sea: journey filled, about to float in an ocean so big that your traumas can be felt instead like a gentle tide? I guide yoga for first-responders, cancer survivors, the chronically stressed and the hearts that haven't quite mended. Yet. If you are curious about how yoga can support your healing journey, let me know. Moving the body is only one out of the eight limbs of yoga. Meditation is not stopping your thoughts. Meditation is watching your thoughts from a position of such nonresisted kindness, that they feel seen enough to pass on through. Next year BeCalmed Studio will align more with meditation.
