It’s already October, and taking a moment to look back on this year fills me with so much gratitude and reflection.
This year has been an extraordinary journey of growth, learning, and transition. Leaving my position at the pharmacy in Arrowtown was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, that team and environment are filled with so much light, and I will always cherish my time there. Handing in my notice was truly emotional, and it took time to process moving on from such a special place.
However, accepting a role closer to home has been a wonderful shift. Reclaiming my commute time, working less for someone else has given me back a vital sense of balance and energy. With that restored energy, I’ve been able to pour so much love and intention not only into Two Feathers, but also into a new project that I can’t wait to share with you all next year!
One of my biggest lessons this year has been learning to set clear boundaries and honor my personal truth. Standing firm in who I am with kindness and clarity has allowed me to grow in ways I never expected. On a personal level, this year has also brought healing, mended family connections, and a beautiful, growing sense of community and connection.
Thank you all for being part of this journey with me. I am so excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to share what’s coming next!
What has this year taught you?
