Celebrating Our Medical Centre Assistants
Behind every busy general practice is a team of people helping things run smoothly, safely, and with care.
At Raglan Medical, weโre proud to acknowledge Teresa, Manaia and Tippy, our Medical Centre Assistants (MCAs), who play a vital role in supporting patients, whฤnau, nurses, doctors, and the wider clinic team every day.
Their role is varied and hands-on โ from preparing treatment rooms, checking equipment and supplies, and supporting clinical procedures, through to helping with observations, recalls, screening programmes, and patient information.
MCAs are also an important link between the clinical team and our community. Their work requires strong organisation, attention to detail, compassion, cultural awareness, and the ability to respond calmly when the day changes quickly.
Much of what they do happens behind the scenes, but it makes a real difference to the patient experience.
We are incredibly grateful for the skill, flexibility, and care our MCA team brings to Raglan Medical. Their contribution strengthens the whole practice and helps us continue providing responsive, community-focused healthcare for our local whฤnau.
Ngฤ mihi, Teresa, Manaia and Tippy.
