No cracking.

You lie fully clothed on the table while I use gentle contacts along specific points of the spine.

These access points help the brain reconnect with areas where stress has been stored.

Is it normal to feel tired or exhausted after a Spinal Flow session?

This is such a beautiful and common question I get asked 💛

Yes — it can be completely normal to feel tired after a Spinal Flow session… and even the next day.
Here’s why 👇

Spinal Flow works directly with your nervous system. When your body shifts out of “fight or flight” mode and into “rest, repair and regulate,” it can finally exhale.
And when the body finally feels safe enough to relax…
It often chooses rest.

Sometimes that looks like:
• Feeling sleepy
• Wanting an early night
• Feeling heavy or slow
• Emotional release
• Deep calm

Your body may be using that time to:
✨ Integrate changes
✨ Release stored stress
✨ Repair and rebalance
✨ Redirect energy toward healing

Think of it like this…
If you’ve been running on adrenaline for months (or years), and suddenly your nervous system switches into healing mode, your body might say, “Oh wow… we can finally rest now.”
That tiredness isn’t something going wrong.

There’s something deeply healing about the Marlborough Sounds at this time of year 🌊🌿

The colour of the water, the native bush, the early morning chorus of birds & cicadas the summer light, and that sense that everything is gently exhaling after the rush of the year before.

Spinal Flow sessions here feel extra special. 💖

Nature already knows how to regulate, restore, and rebalance — and when the nervous system is supported through Spinal Flow, the body can finally drop out of survival mode and into healing.

The beginning of the year is such a powerful time.
A time to reset, to let go of stored tension, old patterns, and the stress the body has been holding onto — sometimes for years.

I want to take a moment to say thank you to every one of you for allowing me to be part of your healing journey throughout 2025. It’s truly been an honour to support you, witness your progress, and hold space for your body to do what it does best — heal 💛

Spinal Flow sessions in Richmond/Nelson have now finished for the year, and I’ll be taking a short break to rest and reset. I’ll be back and ready to welcome you again in the new year 🌿
