For me, Tox is never a one-size-fits-all treatment. Every face is different, and every treatment plan should be too. I take the time to listen to what you want, assess your facial movement, explain your options, and recommend only what I believe is appropriate for you.

✨ “NURSE JANINE, WILL MY FOREHEAD LINES ACTUALLY GET SOFTER?”

This is something I get asked a lot — and the answer is, they can. 🤍

When you raise your brows and those lines appear, we call them dynamic lines. Over time, repeated muscle movement can cause those lines to remain even when your forehead is relaxed — these are static lines.

With Tox, my aim is to reduce targeted muscle movement and soften the appearance of those lines. With consistent treatments at clinically appropriate intervals, we can continue reducing repetitive movement, which may help dynamic lines become less prominent and allow static lines to gradually appear softer over time.

And when you come to see me, you’re not being passed from one person to another. I’m your independent aesthetic nurse provider — your injector, educator and nurse, all rolled into one. I assess your facial movement, explain your options, perform your treatment and look after you throughout your aesthetic journey.

My approach is simple: I don’t want to change your face. I want to soften, refresh and keep you looking like YOU. ✨

At BOSS Aesthetics, we offer Botox® and Xeomin® in clinic. Both are prescription medicines, and suitability is assessed individually.

One of the questions I hear most from first-time Tox clients is, “If I start, do I have to keep doing it forever?”

The simple answer is no. 🤍

Tox is temporary. As it gradually wears off, muscle movement returns and the smoothing effect fades. It doesn’t mean your lines suddenly come back worse, and starting treatment doesn’t lock you into doing it for life.

Something I also think is important for my clients to know: Botox® is a prescription medicine, and botulinum toxin has decades of clinical research and use behind it. That’s why consultation and proper assessment matter.

For me, Tox isn’t about changing the way you look. It’s about understanding your concerns, assessing your facial movement and deciding whether treatment is appropriate for you.

You can maintain your results, space your treatments out, or choose not to continue. There’s no lifelong commitment.
