Our gorgeous client had previously enhanced brows and loved her Ombré Brow look. Over time, the colour had softened and the shape had lost some of its definition, so she came to Nurse Janine for a refresh.

One of the most common questions I get asked is, “Why do I need a second session?” These photos show exactly why.

Photo A is the starting point—a blank canvas. Photo B is immediately after the first Combination Brows session, where hair-like strokes and soft shading were used to create shape, fullness, and definition.

Photo C was taken four weeks later, after the brows had healed. This is where your skin’s response to the pigment becomes visible. Some areas may heal lighter than others, which is completely normal. This stage also highlights why proper aftercare is so important—and why the second session is just as important as the first.

Photo D is the final result after the touch-up session. This is where lost pigment is replenished, colour is balanced, and the brows are refined to achieve a more complete and long-lasting result.

Beautiful brows are not created in a single appointment. They are the result of a carefully planned process, expert technique, proper healing, and a crucial perfecting session. Semi Permanent Make up "Brows" are completed in two stages, not one.

Your first appointment lays down the foundation—creating the shape, hair-like strokes, and soft shading. As your skin heals, it’s completely normal for some areas to heal lighter, softer, or unevenly. Every person’s skin retains pigment differently.

The second session is where the magic happens. This appointment allows us to:
