Hey beauties and whanau.

We have been super quiet over here lately, and honestly, that’s because there’s been A LOT going on behind the scenes!
Another episode of adventures with Epilepsy is coming.

We’re taking some time to process what we want to do next, while sorting out everything else that comes with kids, life, business and all the chaos in between. We’re also busy getting our Gumball Reveals ready to go!
But amongst all of that, I’ve been trying to make time to just CREATE. Sometimes doing something creative is exactly what you need to slow the mind down a little.
And so far… this is what we’ve been making.
3D printed hair accessories!
Seriously though… ain’t they the cutest?! The colour shift on these is sooo pretty, and seeing them actually sitting in the hair made me love them even more.
The Dinosaur Comb 🦕
The Dragon Hair Fork 🐉
Just a couple of our little creative experiments so far… but I have a feeling there may be a few more coming.
Would you wear one? And what design should we try next?

Oh my gosh, what a week and a bit 😮‍💨❤️
Actually it feels like a weird not so surreal couple of weeks, where I've tried not to focus on negative narratives in my life but Honestly it just has been testing me somewhat and there's been SO much to comprehend.
One of my kids came down with what we suspect was that horrible influenza going around and was pretty damn sick. He finally started coming right, but with my eldest son's seizures and my daughter having asthma, it just made sense to keep everyone home, isolated and safe for the week.
(now trying to defend my decision because the school attendance 🤦)

Then some completely unexpected things happened which saw me and the two younger ones jumping on a flight for what was meant to be a really exciting experience… unfortunately that experience turned pretty terrible, but I'm not going into all of that right now.
My truck is FINALLY at the mechanics getting sorted 🙌 after months of battling through the courts over everything that's happened with that. We finally had our phone call with Auckland Neurology too, so there's just been a LOT happening behind the scenes.
And today my body apparently decided it had had enough 😂 I woke up feeling like I'd spent my first day ever doing weighted squats. Every single part of me ached and I was absolutely drained, so today has very much been a my body said REST, so we're resting kind of day.
So aroha mai for being a little quiet on here lately ❤️
So that's our little life update! 😂

We've been quiet, but definitely haven't disappeared. You'll be seeing plenty more from us this week.
Aroha mai & thank you for sticking around ❤️

Just a little behind the scenes
A few moments from doing what I love, helping bring the characters, looks and vision to life behind the camera.
Always love seeing what goes into creating the magic before it ever reaches the screen. 🖤

Not so long ago, I had the pleasure of travelling over to our neighbouring city, Tauranga, to lend a hand with a little short film these guys had going.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved!
Sometimes those little no-budget films just hit a little differently. There's something pretty special about being able to bring your skills, give what you can, and help someone else's vision come to life.
Always grateful to be able to contribute to projects like these.

R.I.L Hayden Panettiere 🕊️💔

This one is so sad. She was an actress I genuinely loved watching over the years. Such a beautiful and talented woman.

She can be with her brother now. 🤍 My heart goes out to her parents, and especially her daughter. I can't imagine the heartbreak their family must be feeling.

Rest easy, Hayden. 🕊️🤍

BREAKING: Actress Hayden Panettiere has died, her representative confirmed to ABC News. She was 36 years old.

Just had to share this one!
Printed my very own Tap & Pay Magic Wand on the 3D printer!
Insert your card, you're ready to pay.
It's not absolutely perfect yet still tweaking settings and learning as I go (I only had my machines stored for 5 years 😂😂🤦 but I'm pretty stoked with how it turned out.
Every print is teaching me something new, and I'm loving the challenge!
What do you think? Would you use one?

Honestly whānau... if you don't have one of these, get yourself one.
Since I got back from Auckland a few months ago for mahi, my truck has been playing up. It has a brand-new battery, but it randomly keeps going flat.
As someone who knows next to nothing about cars, this little portable jump starter has been an absolute lifesaver. No waiting around for someone to come give you a jump, no stressing... just hook it up, press the button, and you're away.
If you're anything like me and not exactly car savvy, I honestly can't recommend one of these enough. It's one of those things you hope you never need, but when you do, you'll be so glad it's sitting in your car.
Definitely one of the best purchases.

💜 Adventures with Epilepsy – Episode 5 💜

His Absence Seizures

Every person's epilepsy journey is different, and this is simply what absence seizures look like for my son.

We're sharing our journey not because we're experts, but because we're learning too. Everything we share is based on our own family's experiences, and if these videos help even one person better understand epilepsy or feel a little less alone, then they're worth sharing.

Thank you for following along on our Adventures with Epilepsy. 💜
