Yapi Services is committed to creating meaningful change for vulnerable and disadvantaged Australians.

We work alongside youth, young people, individuals, Indigenous communities and NDIS participants, providing culturally informed, strengths-based and practical support that builds confidence, connection and independence.

Our Services

Mentoring:
Individualised support focused on life skills, education, employment readiness, positive behaviour, court support, advocacy and personal development.

NDIS Support:
Self-Managed and Plan-Managed support including daily assistance, domestic support, community access, life skills and capacity building.

Indigenous Cultural & Wraparound Support:
Culturally safe, holistic support focused on identity, kinship, family and community connection, advocacy, case management, healing, parenting, housing, financial support and employment pathways.

Private Services:
Domestic and commercial cleaning, yard maintenance, rubbish removal, transport and public speaking.

Yapi Services | Private Services – Yard Maintenance

Over the last couple of weekends, the Yapi Services, Yard Maintenance team has been hard at work delivering our Private Services.

We recently supported a client who requested the removal of four tree stumps and two trees from their property. Our dedicated team put in the hard work, completing the job safely, efficiently and with a great sense of pride. ‘No job is too big or too small’.

Meet Lily

We’re excited to welcome Lily Milera to the Yapi Services team!

Lily is a proud Kokatha/Narungga and Larrakia woman who grew up on the outskirts of Ceduna with her family before moving to Adelaide, where she has spent most of her life.

Lily has experience working with young Aboriginal children, including school visitations, as well as previous experience in the retail and fast-food industries. These roles have helped her develop strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Family is a very important part of Lily’s life, and she especially values being an Aunty and spending quality time with her loved ones. She is also passionate about sport, particularly netball, and enjoys staying active while maintaining a strong focus on health and wellbeing.

Lily is passionate about supporting young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to build confidence, recognise their strengths and reach their full potential. She believes in creating safe, supportive and culturally connected environments where young people feel heard, respected and valued.

Lily is committed to giving back to community and being a positive role model for the next generation.

Meet Lachlan

We’re excited to welcome Lachlan to the Yapi Services team!

Lachlan is a dedicated, hardworking and motivated education support professional with experience working across both primary and secondary schools. Throughout his career, he has supported Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and families, helping to improve attendance, engagement, academic outcomes and positive attitudes towards learning.

Lachlan has worked in roles including Aboriginal Community Education Officer, Student Support Officer and Aboriginal Secondary Education Transition Officer. Through these experiences, he has developed strong communication, relationship-building, organisation and teamwork skills, as well as a genuine understanding of the importance of creating safe, supportive and encouraging environments for young people.

Lachlan is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people and supporting them to build confidence, develop their skills and reach their potential. His approach is grounded in reliability, adaptability, teamwork and a genuine commitment to giving back to the community.

Outside of work, Lachlan is passionate about sport and staying active. He enjoys AFL, coaching junior football, ice hockey and camping. Lachlan has also achieved a number of exciting sporting milestones, including travelling to Canada with the Kaurna Boomerangs and winning gold at the Nationals, being accepted into the Port Adelaide Academy squad and representing the State in ice hockey.

We’re proud to have Lachlan join the Yapi Services team and look forward to seeing the positive impact he will have through his work with all individuals, families and the wider community.

Today, the Yapi Services team was proud to attend the Adelaide Aged & Disability Expo 2026 on Kaurna Country as an exhibitor.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Disability Expo Australia for hosting such a fantastic event and providing us with the opportunity to showcase Yapi Services and the work we are passionate about within our community.

Throughout the day, we had the privilege of engaging in many meaningful conversations with community members, participants, families, carers and professionals, while also sharing our vision and services as a newly established organisation. Every conversation reinforced the importance of collaboration, connection and providing person-centred support that empowers people to achieve their goals.

The expo also provided a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow disability and aged care providers, allied health professionals, community organisations, support services and innovative businesses. We look forward to building strong partnerships that will continue to strengthen outcomes for the people and communities we serve.
