Pour Vous began as The Skin Therapy Studio in 2001, offering Beauty Therapy services and skin care products. The addition of Savon de Marseille (a special type of French soap) in 2005 prompted the name change to Pour Vous, reflecting my love of France and this unique soap.
‘Pour Vous’ (pronounced ‘Pour Voo’) simply means ‘For You’ in French. Savon de Marseille is traditionally made of vegetable

oils, olive oil being one, which produces a unique creamy lather. Different fragrant herbs and aromas are then added, giving each soap its own unique look and feel. I personally import this beautiful long lasting soap from a small town called Cavaillon, in the south of France. Southern France is the only place in the world this special soap is manufactured. Beginning my career as a gym instructor and sports massage therapist I moved into beauty therapy after completing my training in 1996 at the Joyce Blok Institute in Auckland. I then worked as a beauty therapist in several reputable clinics in Auckland, gaining valuable knowledge and experience in all aspects of beauty therapy and electrolysis. Since 2001 I have been the sole owner /operator of Pour Vous Beauty Therapy & Savon Boutique.
