Well, that escalated...

Jill and I pulled an all-nighter sending 4,400 emails to patients from both our Tairua and Whangamatā clinics.

For perspective, that’s equivalent to nearly 70% of the combined population of the two towns!

It was a slightly exhausting but rather lovely reminder of just how many people have come through our doors over the years.

The short version of the email: our regular Whangamatā clinic services will finish in late October, as we bring everything together in Tairua. Until then, it’s business as usual in Whangamatā.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of Back in Line over the past ten years. That is a lot of familiar faces, backs, necks, shoulders, hips, knees, elbows, ankles, wrists, fingers, toes, etc, etc!

New Tairua yoga class: Mondays 11:45 at Tairua Golf Club, starting tomorrow. 🧘🏼

After seven years of teaching Saturday yoga it’s time for a change, and with the hall closure this is the perfect opportunity to start afresh.

This new class will appeal to those of you who:

• work from home and need to take a break from sitting in front of the computer

• have baches and spend long weekends in Tairua. It's easier to go to class here without traffic jams

• want a class that's challenging and accessible, that helps you recover from stiffness, pain or injuries, and improves your balance

• prefer a safe environment with no pressure to perform or keep up with others in class

• not only want a physical yoga practice, but also want to be guided through breathing (pranayama) and meditation or relaxation. No prior experience is necessary. You will be supported along the way

Each class is designed to accommodate your abilities. If you have a specific musculoskeletal issue you are working with, please let me know so the class is tailored to your needs.

Class will start at 11:45 and finish at 1p.m. and will run weekly during school term, including tomorrow, because why wait for next week?

Concession cards are available and shareable with friends and family, $15/20. Extra mats are available. Blocks provided.

Good morning everyone.
We just want to let you all know that the clinics are still open today (until noon in Whangamata, all day in Tairua), even if the power goes out. Please don't risk travel if there's a chance you'll get stuck (yes. I'm talking to you guys in Pauanui and Hikuai). If you can, please let us know if you can't keep your appointment.
