Well… as I sit here contemplating the beautiful afternoon sun down here at Golden Bay Hypnotherapy, I feel very relaxed. Almost ready for a session myself lol 😊
It’s been a restful few weeks since my surgery, and I’m happy to say I am now fully recovered and back into full swing.
I’m always quietly grateful to be able to do this work in such a beautiful community, so I thought I’d share a little about some of the sessions I currently offer — both in person and on Zoom.
STOP SMOKING OR VA**NG
Hypnotherapy can make it so much easier to let go of smoking or va**ng. Just ask some of the former smokers around Takaka who have come to see me 😊
My stop smoking/va**ng programme consists of 2 sessions. You will stop after the first session, and then we do a second session about a week later to strengthen everything and mop up anything that may have come up during that first week.
I’ve found this approach to be very supportive and effective for people.
During the sessions we use NLP techniques to help reduce cravings and disconnect old patterns, followed by hypnotherapy to support the deeper subconscious changes. I also send supportive recordings afterwards, including subliminal and relaxation tracks, to help reinforce the work.
As a former smoker myself (22 years smoke free now), I know personally how difficult it can be to stop — and especially to stay stopped — so I’ve spent many years refining this protocol with a great deal of care.
I prefer to do smoking sessions in person where possible. The next available in-person slots are Sunday 14th and 21st June. Please get in touch early as these spaces tend to fill quickly.
WEIGHT LOSS PROTOCOL
This is a tried and tested 5-session programme.
Weight loss is rarely about just one thing — there are often many different subconscious patterns, emotional triggers, habits and behaviours involved. This protocol works by addressing those deeper layers gently and systematically.
Clients commonly lose around 1kg per week during the programme, and often continue losing weight afterwards because the underlying patterns and habits have begun to shift naturally.
TRAUMA SUPPORT PROTOCOL
I am a trauma-informed therapist, and the trauma support work I offer is designed to help the nervous system and subconscious mind move toward a greater sense of safety, calm and balance.
Trauma can deeply affect how we experience life, relationships and ourselves — sometimes leaving us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, reactive, emotionally exhausted, or caught in patterns that don’t seem to make sense.
While hypnotherapy cannot change the past, it can help change how past experiences are held and processed in the present. For many people, this creates significant relief, increased calm, and a renewed sense of possibility moving forward.
The aim is gently helping different parts of you feel safer, calmer and more resolved.
