Happy World Breastfeeding week!

World Breastfeeding Week is officially here 🤱

This year’s theme is: “Prioritize Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems.”

And honestly? That matters more than people realize.

Because breastfeeding was never supposed to fall entirely on one exhausted mother trying to survive on two hours of sleep, cold coffee, leaking shirts, and pure determination.

Mothers need support. Real support.

Support from partners. Workplaces. Families. Communities. Healthcare providers. Friends who say: “Go sit down. I’ve got the dishes.”

Breastfeeding is biological. But support is what helps make it sustainable.

So all week long, we’re going to talk about the REAL side of breastfeeding: 🤱 the beautiful parts 🤱 the exhausting parts 🤱 the science 🤱 the mental load 🤱 the humor 🤱 the support moms actually need

Whether you breastfed for 2 days, 2 years, exclusively pumped, combo fed, struggled, thrived, cried, or survived… you belong here.

Happy World Breastfeeding Week from Breastfeeding Mama Talk 🤍
