Kaye walks in every Tuesday and Thursday. She's 76, she's building endurance, and she's surrounded by people from 20 to 80 all doing the same thing: getting stronger.
No one looks at her age and assumes she should be doing something "easier." No one questions whether she belongs. She just shows up and gets to work.

We hear this all the time: "Women your age shouldn't be lifting that heavy."
Today she's pressing 100kg and laughing about it.
She didn't get there by accident. She got there because someone assessed her properly, built her program on what her body actually needed (not what the internet told her), and adjusted as she got stronger.

Good circulation plays a huge role in keeping our feet healthy, comfortable, and functioning well 👣

At NextStepNZ, tools like the massage gun can be a great way to help stimulate blood flow, reduce tightness, and improve how the lower legs and feet feel — especially for people dealing with stiffness, reduced movement, or long periods of inactivity.

Using targeted soft tissue work can help:

An injury doesn’t always mean stopping — sometimes it just means adapting.

At NextStepNZ, we focus on finding ways to keep you moving, training, and progressing safely so you don’t lose momentum while recovering.

Because even when one area needs time to heal, there’s still so much we *can* work on:

✔️ Cardiovascular fitness
✔️ Stability and movement quality
