Sometimes listening does not give us new answers.
Sometimes it gives us a wider view.
A story we have carried for years can suddenly reveal new perspectives when we allow ourselves to sit with it gently.
Not because the past changes.
But because our capacity to hold it expands.

The river does not rush to decide which current is correct.
It simply allows them all to flow.
Perhaps listening is a little like this too.
The more spacious we become, the more life reveals itself in its wholeness.
