Building robust herds starts here.

On Monday, our team came together for a FirstStep Academy professional development day focused on transition cow management, one of the most critical periods for setting cows (and farms) up for success.

Hosted by Pip, Ian and Rodney, the day brought together most of the Nutrinza technical sales team alongside some local Headlands consultants. The sessions covered:
💡The link between animal health, milk solids, reproduction and longevity
💡Why nutrient intake pre-calving is critical (and why not all energy and protein are equal)
💡Practical workshops on feed planning and transition prep
💡Managing fresh cows post-calving to maximise dry matter intake and peak performance
💡The economics of getting transition right, and how it pays across production, repro and cow health

We also learned more about Availa Zinc and Manganese in calf products and their lifetime benefits

It was a valuable day of learning, discussion and application, all centred on one simple goal: building robust, resilient herds.
