Involves a consult and some terms and conditions apply. Depending on what's going on, we still may have to refer you to a Doctor, but its worth trying us first.👍

Rapid Antigen Tests are now available for public purchase instore at
Highland Pharmacy. This means you can now purchase RATs for your own peace of mind.

We have funded RATs available through the RAT requester site
https://requestrats.covid19.health.nz/ for anyone meeting the criteria, of either a household contact or those with symptoms.

Also available are supervised RATs for those needing proof of a negative test for travel or to attend a court.

So come in and see us.

We've put together a bunch of products that cover the 'basics'. It is a work in progress, you'll see more products appear over the coming weeks. If there are products you don't see on the site, drop us an email and we'll do our best to make it happen.

Click and collect or delivery options are available. Pay online, or with paypal.

Remember that coming into the store to buy products is also encouraged but with our personal distancing requirements still
in place. We'd love to see you.

Update for Highland Pharmacy Shopping in Store!!!!

Good news if you would like to come into the Pharmacy for a maybe not quite so essential item, such as a magazine, word find book, hair dye or moisturiser etc you can.

We still have the same rules in place. Door will remain locked. You must phone the pharmacy with your request and at their discretion you will be allowed to enter the shop.

One in One out must apply and you will be handed disposable gloves to wear while inside.

If you are one of our special customers, that is elderly or unwell please stay home and give us a call. We will deliver whatever it is you need directly to your door.

There are now many ways to pay, we have Paywave, manual processing of debit/credit cards, and direct credit or contact us about setting up direct debits.

The online shop will be up and running in the next day or two and we will provide the link here for you.

Stay safe everyone and remember give us a call if you need anything.

Highland Pharmacy is committed to keeping the community informed of developments regarding Covid 19 and your medicine supply.

Below are the main points of a media release by Pharmac (the guys in charge of the drugs)

Pharmac is placing temporary restrictions on dispensing for all medicines to just ONE MONTH'S SUPPLY (with two repeats) or THREE MONTHS SUPPLY for oral contraceptives (with a repeat of three months).

This change will come into effect at midnight on Thursday 26 March.

this is a temporary measure to prevent possible medicine shortages and ensure the supplies last.

To support social distancing, pharmacists may be able to supply three-months worth for certain people, specfically those with mobility issues, who live rurally, those who are immunocompromised and the elderly.

Update for Highland Pharmacy Covid 19 Response

Firstly Alastair and the Pharmacy staff would like to thank the community for their patience while we work out how to safely proceed during ths phase of Covid 19.

Dispensing of medicine items must take priority at this time, so delaying your visit to buy non essential items in these first few days would be helpful.

We are looking at setting up our online store in the next few days so please be patient with us while this is sorted.

The Pharmacy will continue to operate a one in one out policy and a register will now be kept with the details of your visit. Our lovely staff will assist with the items your require to keep handling contact to a minimum. Payments will be made directly to our bank account or contactless at the till.

We really want to stress that if you do not need to see us face to face please don't. It is for your safety as much as ours. If you are elderly or vulnerable and one of our kind community members has offered to shop for you please let them.

We have a wonderful staff who will do your shopping for you and all items will be delivered to you.
