Walter & Co Hairdressing is a full service salon located centrally in the main shopping area of Pollen street in Thames. The salon is owned by Leanne Grinder. Leanne moved to Thames a couple of years ago, she has strong family connection to the area & enjoys the rich history & the pace of life here
. Originally from Auckland where she worked & trained, Leanne is a New Zealand Trade certified Hairdresser of over 25 years experience. She enjoys sharing her knowledge & skills with her staff & clients. Leanne believes strongly in regular up-skilling and the team regularly attends training sessions in Auckland & Hamilton as well as in-salon training so that the clients can be certain that they are receiving the latest styles & techniques. The salon is also assisted by an senior Stylist Sophia Grinder and our third year Apprentice Rachel Broadbent. We are members of the New Zealand Association of Registered Hairdressers which requires us to not only guarantee our work, uphold the highest ethics and standards and to only hire New Zealand qualified Stylists so you can be assured you are getting the best.. Services available include precision cutting & styling, all aspects of colouring with a focus on Blondes - includes foils, Balayage, vivid colours, straightening, Keratin Smoothing treatments, permanent waves, hair ups, wedding hair & a selection of deep conditioning treatments. Walter & Co Hairdressing also has a well appointed Shampoo shop where we have in stock a large variety of professional shampoo & styling products for your needs including GHD hair stylers. Brands available are Joico, Pure -Hair Jamm, Juuce- Hair Jamm, Angel, Olaplex, Lust Colour, Lust Haircare and De Lorenzo Novafusion to name a few....
