Our first bake for the Good Bi***es Baking. The Life Stylers enjoyed creating chocolate weetbix slice as a way of giving to others, with a wee note hoping they enjoy the love and kindness put into this heavenly slice.

Last weekend, our Life Stylers celebrated at the beautiful “Starry Night Ball” held at the Civic Centre. ✨🌟🎉

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this special evening possible—including those who donated gowns and suits 👗🤵, our community members who provided the Beach Hop cars 🚗✨, and our vocational spaces: Artsider 🎨, OriginalWorx 🛠️ and The Jam Jar 🎶; our wonderful staff 💙; and the Outcomes Team 🌟 for creating such a beautiful evening.

🐄 Bobby Calf Appeal

A huge shout-out and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has generously offered a bobby calf to the Trust for adoption.

We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the continued generosity of those in our farming community. This year, we even received offers from as far afield as Hawke’s Bay — unfortunately, that was just a little beyond our logistical capabilities! 😊

From Luke, who generously donated eight calves last season, to everyone who has donated this year, and those who kindly offered calves that we simply couldn’t accept due to capacity — we cannot thank you enough.

Your generosity provides our Life Stylers with a fantastic opportunity to care for and engage with livestock, develop practical farming skills, and earn an income that is above the minimum wage, while also contributing towards the costs of running the Life Stylers’ farmlet.

It is a wonderful example of our wider community getting behind our Life Stylers and helping create meaningful opportunities for them.
