🌿 WE DID IT! CONNECT HEALING COMMUNITY HUB IS OFFICIALLY HERE! 🌿
After a lot of planning, paperwork, conversations, dreaming and believing in what could be possible for our community…
We are so excited to announce that Connect Healing Community Hub is now officially established as a Charitable Trust! ❤️
This is only the beginning, but what a beginning it is.
Our vision is to create accessible, culturally safe and holistic health and wellbeing support for the people in our communities who need it most — particularly our kaumātua, vulnerable whānau, rural and isolated communities, rangatahi, and families who may struggle to access the support they need.
Some of the programmes we are working towards include:
🌿 Kaumātua health and wellbeing outreach
🌿 Mobile Mirimiri and holistic wellbeing support
🌿 Health and wellness checks in rural communities
🌿 Support programmes for whānau and rangatahi
🌿 Support programmes for Mama and pepe
🌿 Mental and emotional wellbeing initiatives
🌿 Community education, connection and preventative health programmes.
Now we need a little help from our community. ❤️
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FUNDING & GRANTS SUPERSTAR!
We would love to connect with someone who has experience in charitable funding, grant applications, community funding or sponsorship applications and who may be willing to help guide us through these early stages.
There are incredible programmes sitting behind this kaupapa that are ready to be developed — we now need the funding to help bring them to life and get this support out into our communities.
Maybe you are that person.
Maybe you know someone.
Maybe you work within funding, community development, iwi, health, philanthropy or the charitable sector and can point us in the right direction.
Even an introduction could make a huge difference.
