Ngākau Whiwhita - Ko tā mātou wiki mutunga tuatahi mō ētahi o ā mātou rangatahi. He whakanui hoki i te huritau kotahi tau 🎉 the work for us is not competitive. There is no competition in our spaces unless you’re in the ring or on the mat. The competition we raise is let go of versions of yourself you no longer want to invest in. Let them go before standing on the mat/ring/atamira. But that is learned and observed through time to be able to stand there before you’re ready. There is a time for Tū and there is time for Rongo. Each to their own and the roles may shift. Our work is embodiment of language. Some people may read a book and understand the visuals from the language in their body but it is read. Ours is understanding your personal embodiment from doing it which should be different to all your peers despite doing it together. No story should be the same.And in that…you fill yourself with conscious choices of one’s own learning. Another year passed and our work of conscious guidance and embodiment is away.
