Just to name a few……

You can’t buy any of them. We’re all fall having goals. But if chasing a smaller body is costing your energy, strength, hormones, relationship with food or ability to actually enjoy your life…. It might be time to rethink what “healthy” actually looks like.

This is what 16 weeks of consistency looks like 🤎💪🏽

55kg → 50kg 👏🏻👏🏻 When Britt first joined Whole Nutrition and Whole Strength, she was coming out of two months of recovery following hand surgery and wanted to rebuild her strength, confidence and routine.

In Britt’s words:

“When I first signed up with Whole Nutrition, I had just come out of a two-month recovery at home following hand surgery, so I was starting from a place where I needed to rebuild my strength, confidence and routine.

With a few different goals in mind, I wanted to get my nutrition back on track and have more structure around my eating—eating the right foods to gain strength and energy in the gym, becoming more consistent with both training and nutrition, and feeling more confident overall.

Having a structured nutrition and training plan made such a big difference. I learnt how to build balanced meals and make my nutrition work around my everyday life. The structure and accountability made it much easier to stay consistent, especially while I was getting back into training and work after surgery and rebuilding my strength.

The journey definitely wasn’t perfect, and I struggled with other injuries along the way, but the Whole Nutrition team stayed patient and guided me through.

The physical changes are clear, but I’m just as proud of everything else that has changed. I feel more confident, I have gained so much strength, I have a much better understanding of nutrition, I’m more consistent with my habits, and I feel like I’ve built a solid foundation that I can continue moving forward with.

Thank you for helping me work towards all the goals I started with, especially after such a challenging period of ongoing recovery, and for giving me the knowledge and confidence to continue progressing beyond the programme 🫶🏼✨”

We are so proud of you, Britt! An incredible result, but even more importantly, such a strong foundation to keep building from. 🤎

Building a balanced meal doesn’t need to be complicated!!!!

A good place to start? Protein + carbohydrates + fats + fibre.

🥩 Protein to support muscle growth, repair + recovery
🥖 Carbohydrates to fuel your brain, body + training
🥑 Fats to support hormones, brain health + nutrient absorption
🥦 Fibre to support digestion, gut health + keep you satisfied

No food group needs to be feared or cut out. Each one has a role to play.

When you bring them together, you’re building meals that support steady energy, better recovery, fullness and your overall health — while actually being satisfying to eat.

Keep it simple. Build the basics. Do it consistently. 🤎🌱

What actually is Whole Strength? 🤎

Whole Strength is our structured strength training programme, designed to help you build strength, improve body composition and feel more confident in the gym.

The focus is simple: progressive, sustainable training that actually fits into real life.

Your training is broken into progressive blocks, so rather than walking into the gym and guessing what to do, you have a clear plan to follow and a way to keep progressing week after week.

Whether your goal is fat loss, building muscle, supporting your running or endurance training, or simply feeling stronger in your body -strength training can play such an important role.

And when paired with your personalised Whole Nutrition plan, we can make sure you’re not only training well, but fuelled to support it too.

Stronger. More fuelled. More confident. 🤎

A little “about me” for anyone who’s new here 🤎 I’m Brooke, the other half of Whole Nutrition.

While Morgan is the nutrition brain behind our client plans, I’m usually behind the scenes… from admin and operations to helping our performance athletes with race-day nutrition and fuelling.

Sport has always been a huge part of my life. I started swimming at eight, played 1st XI football throughout high school and found rowing at 14- which quickly became my whole world.

I was lucky enough to represent New Zealand from 2018–2023, travelling the world and spending a year on a rowing scholarship in the USA. It was an incredible experience, but also came with some of the hardest years of my life. Rowing taught me discipline and resilience, but also about pressure, injury, burnout and what happens when your identity becomes tied to one thing. When I retired, I honestly didn’t know who I was without it, and completely fell out of love with training.

Not long after, my partner and I moved to Italy for a year. It was exactly what I needed. I started running, rediscovered my love for swimming and spent time in the gym trying to feel strong again. Slowly, I found my love for movement again.

These days, I train because it clears my mind, challenges me and makes me feel good. Ironically, letting go of the pressure to perform has allowed me to achieve things I never thought possible.

Since rowing, I’ve completed two Ironmans, qualified for the Ironman World Championships after my first, run an ultramarathon and multiple marathons. More than the results, I’m proud that I genuinely enjoy the process again.

Next up is the Auckland Marathon, followed by Ironman New Zealand in March 2027. Strength training is also a huge part of my life. I love getting stronger and knowing it helps me stay healthy and injury-free.

Outside of WN, I’m the New Zealand Manager for my dream clothing store, and my partner and I run a mobile pizza business together 🍕

When I’m not working or training, I love travelling, relaxing at Waihi Beach, having a few wines, seeing family and friends, and hanging out with my two miniature dachshunds.

So that’s a little more about me 🤎

Fruit doesn’t become any less important in winter 🍊🥝🍎

It’s an easy way to increase your fibre, carbohydrates, antioxidants and overall micronutrient intake and buying what’s in season usually means better flavour, better quality and a lower price.

Try adding fruit to your oats, pairing an apple with peanut butter, warming frozen berries over yoghurt, or grabbing a mandarin on the go.

Simple, nourishing and easy to include every day 🤎🌱
