Hokioi Therapy Brings Rongoā Māori to Te Matatini 2025

Hokioi Therapy is honored to participate in Te Matatini – National Kapa Haka Festival 2025, held from February 25 to March 1 at Pukekura, Ngāmotu. As a proud provider of Rongoā Māori under ACC, we look forward to engaging with whānau and supporting their well-being through traditional Māori healing practices.

Embracing Well-being Through Rongoā Māori

Rongoā Māori is an integral part of our cultural identity, offering holistic healing through mirimiri (body manipulationtechniques), rākau rongoā (native plant medicine), wairua healing, and karakia. At Te Matatini, Hokioi Therapy will provide a space where whānau can access these powerful taonga, promoting physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.

Supporting Our Kapa Haka Whānau

Te Matatini is more than just a competition—it is a celebration of Māori excellence, culture, and unity. We understand the immense physical and emotional demands of kapa haka performers and their supporters. By offering Rongoā Māori treatments, we aim to help alleviate stress, enhance recovery, and restore balance, ensuring that our people are in their best health to embrace the wairua of the festival.

Rongoā Māori Under ACC

As an ACC-registered provider, Hokioi Therapy ensures that eligible individuals can access Rongoā Māori as part of their healing journey. Whether recovering from injuries or seeking overall well-being, we encourage whānau to kōrero with us about how we can support them through ACC pathways.

Join Us at Te Matatini 2025

We welcome everyone to visit our space, learn more about Rongoā Māori, and experience its benefits firsthand. Whether you're a performer, a supporter, or a kaihaka enthusiast, we are here to uplift and empower our whānau in their journey of hauora.

Let’s come together, celebrate our culture, and nurture our well-being at Te Matatini 2025!

Nā tō rourou, nā taku rourou, ka ora ai te iwi.
