It has been brought to my attention that nasty gossips are spewing forth nasty rumors regarding me Carolyn Barbu former owner of Blu Hair Design.
I do not have huge debt, I didn't "go under" I simply gave up my lease. My health has been suffering especially near death sepsis last year. There were 2x $100 vouchers outstanding which I have paid back. So I have nothing to add but wanted to set the record straight. People are nasty when they don't know the facts.

It is with deep regret Blu Hair Design will closing its doors for good on Friday 18th of June. But the staff will be employed by Vivo Western Heights. PH (09)8360667
Starting from Tuesday 29th of June. Both Carolyn and Maxine will be at Vivo for any clients wanting appointments from the 29th. Same hairdressers but different location.

When we know lockdown is over we will go in the day before and phone regulars who were booked in over the lock down period and get you in first.

Sorry to everyone who's booked in the next few days. Taylor and I will go in and clear messages and rearrange appointments for tues/weds. Typical we were jam packed so obviously it's that time when people REALLY need their hair done lol

Just an update as it looks like we're all go next week. We open on Tues. Monday we will go into the salon to clean and go through our bookings. As mentioned before we will be booking people from a few weeks ago in first then go from there. Please be patient.

Since level 3 has been extended we will now hopefully be open NEXT WEEK!
We will pe phoning people with regards to appointments. Like last time people that were booked over the past couple of weeks will be phoned first.
We really appreciate all the loyalty you have shown and can't wait to get "back to normal"
Hairdressers are unable to work under level 3 so come on level 2!

Due to the latest Covid 19 level 3 alert we are unable to operate due to client contact.
All appointments have been cancelled until we get the all clear from the Government.
We will keep you posted when we are able to reopen.

We have no more bookings for all of next week ( 19th-26th) but we have a cancellation list for that week. Sorry but as you can imagine it's been overwhelming! But also great to know we have such great community support. Thank you.
