I saw this quote and thought about the truth it holds, sometimes our learning does not come how we would want or expect.

However if the intention of learning in all things remains present, the capacity to grow in all areas of life is magnified.

What have you seen today that motivates you to want to learn more.

You are most welcome to share your thoughts in the comments, you don't know what may motivate others. :-)

Just peeking in to say hello!

I have to say it has been a fun time with the ring neck doves popping in and the spring flowers blooming.

As the new school term starts, may
new and old friendships develop, may those life struggles that were present become easier, may there be a time in each day that laughter surrounds you.

Lots has been happening lately and those Spring flowers popping up around our community are the reminder of a new season.

When life appears to be so hard, nothing goes to plan or how it was supposed to be, take a second to stop, breath out, notice where the tension is being held with the body (most likely the breath has been held along with raised shoulders and tension through outheld within.).

Take a slow deep breath in, notice your surroundings allow yourself to pause and reset.

It is helpful to take a few minutes of the slow deep breathing, noticing where in your body is feeling tension and of course emotions, not forgetting the brain (the database) will still be trying to do its job at finding solutions in many different pathways.

Releasing the tension helps the body come out of battle mode into calm, cortisol is dialled back, blood pressure returns to normal.

It takes a deliberate choice to refocus the brain, the reward is outstanding and brings health to your body.

May the Hope of the new season bring peace and thoughts of new ideas to create peaceable moments.

Good morning folks the sunrise was extra pretty today especially after some of the wild weather lately.

May your day be one that decisions come easier, special times of laughter at silly moments, and a reminder that yesterday's trouble comes with a fresh perspective today.

Remember the brain has a job to do that's always looking for information. Take time to pause and check in with the rest of your body and that it's not caught up in the stress of trying to fulfill all of the plans and ideas!

Remain present, exhale, take in a big slow deep breath, drop those shoulders, hold the breath for 4 seconds then slowly exhale letting all the thoughts, anxiety go as you breath out, repeat as many times as required.
Then step into a place of peaceable clarity.
If you would like to know more about steps into understanding anxiety, the power of the brain, thoughts and emotions affect the body, reactions, decisions contact Judy on 027 293 2517.

Sometimes the closing of a day can be unusual, I captured this sunset tonight.

Noticing what nature has to offer brings clarity into what situations may present.

However taking time to step back, notice what is happening externally and within is a healthy way of allowing the body to do a reset.

Take time over the next few days to see what your mind focuses on and how your body responds.

A lovely closing to today, may tomorrow open with new found adventures and creating new memories.

How did folk get on creating special moments of time over the holidays? Was any new memories created and recorded for the future years, if so and you would like to share them please do so in the comments.

As humans we can and do form special habits, some make smiles appear on sad faces, some can be more annoying than funny while other are steadfast and create a sense of security, safety and well-being.

At times it can be hard to express feelings when the words to explain aren't known or come to mind.

As we all step back into term 3 take the time to notice the little things, remember for those returning to school there will be a change of routine, there maybe changes at the school, and for parents returning to work and managing the balance of both work and family take time to debrief.

Have the conversations that show you care, have heard, and want to create time to have a deeper commitment to quality of life for yourself and family.

Till later
Judy

It's an excellent opportunity to turn small moments into meaningful contributions toward a larger vision. Taking a few minutes to connect with one another about your day can foster relationships, while also building anticipation for creating new memories the next time you're together.

May each day have little treasures that you can build upon, look for those moments that bring a gem of delight.

Hard and tough times do happen, when we look at what we learn from them helps us grow and journey alongside others.

Each day has a sunrise and sunset, there is only twenty four hours in a day, choose what you focus on, for what we focus on grows.

May these holidays be restful and restorative for you and your families.

What a stunning winters day, was working away enjoying the sunshine, then next minute I heard Tui's singing.

Look out to find 8 of them flying or should I say dancing through the trees, they were to quick to take a photo but none the least a special sight to pause and admire their freedom and the delight they gave.

Sometimes awe and wonder are found in the simple everyday life experiences.

Life may appear to be very busy, the weather is unpredictable, finding TIME will be something that is only found in a 24 hour zone, pausing can look like wasting TIME.

However the truth is often the opposite to what the mind would want one to rush into.

Pausing, focusing on what is happening around you, exhale, drop those shoulders, shake off what is causing the moment of stress, close your eyes for a moment in TIME, take a deep breath in, hold, listen for the birdsong, the quietness, or sounds you can hear afar, notice your body shift as begin to exhale.

Don't be in a hurry to leave the spot, TIME is held not in our hands it is what we do with in that counts.
