🤝 NEW COLLAB SPOTLIGHT

We do a lot of custom freeze-drying here at Foodnerd — every now and then a project comes along that genuinely gets us excited.

Meet our friends at NZ Truffles — you probably know them for their fresh white truffles and truffle salt. Now they've just launched something special: Natural White Truffle Oil 🫒

Freeze-drying lets us lock in the aroma and intensity of white truffle at its peak, so when it's infused into the oil, you get concentrated truffle flavour in every drop. We're genuinely proud to have played a small part in getting this one to shelf.

Big congrats to the Bianchetto NZ team on the launch — watching this product come together has been a joy, and we can't wait to see where it goes 🥂

🎉 Foodnerd Update: The Machines Have Spoken! 🎉

Good news, foodnerds — one of my freeze dryers has officially come back to life!
After weeks of drama, tests, repairs, emotional support, and a few stern talks, she is finally humming again.

The other machine… well, she has decided to take an extended holiday.
I’m still waiting for the replacement parts to arrive — and to be honest, I’m not even sure if the new parts will actually fix her, but we will try our best.
(Honestly, I cannot blame her — it has been a year. 😂)

So here is the plan:

✨ Pre-orders are now open
✨ First deliveries will resume in the New Year
✨ Stock will be slower than usual with only one machine running, so please be patient with us
✨ I’ll keep you all posted on the ongoing “Machine Saga”

Thank you all for being so patient, supportive, and part of this little Foodnerd roller coaster. Your messages and encouragement really mean so much to me.

*******My Machines Are Having a Mood Swing 😩******

Hi Foodnerd family 💛

You are not going to believe this… BOTH of my freeze drying machines have decided to “check out” at the same time. Honestly, if they had legs, they would have walked out the door together.

They are currently broken, moody, and refusing to work. I’m doing everything I can to revive them, but until then, production is paused.

Thank you for sticking with me through the drama. I will update you once the machines stop being emotional 😭
