Meet one of our keynote speakers at this years conference, Emily King (MSc/LLB).

Emily is a leading voice in food systems change, bringing more than a decade of experience working with organisations across Aotearoa and around the world. In 2025, she was named a global IMAGINE Leader.

As the author of Re-food, founder of Spira, and one of Food Tank’s Top 20 Global Food Leaders Under 40, Emily is widely recognised for her bold thinking and practical approach to creating better food futures.

At the 2026 Dietitians NZ Conference, Emily will deliver her keynote, “Rethinking New Zealand’s Food System: What Comes Next?”, an inspiring and timely session exploring the future of food in Aotearoa.
