🎗️ Today is World Radiotherapy Awareness Day! Radiotherapy helps cure cancer, relieve symptoms, and improve quality of life for millions of people worldwide, yet many patients still can't access this essential treatment.

This year's theme, One Voice for Radiotherapy, calls on all of us to speak up for safe, effective, and equitable access to radiotherapy for every patient, everywhere.

The first Friday of every month, this lovely group of volunteers meets to create products that support people going through cancer.

This month they are making beanies and softies, which get taken to the hospital for patients going through their treatment.

Thank goodness for the blue skies for Bridget’s friends and whānau Daffy Dip at Oriental Parade, you really can’t beat Welly on a good day (even when the water is only 10 degrees…) ☀️💛
