If you're still not sure about trying Citric Acid, here's a reminder of some of the ways you can use it:

๐—™๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ฑ ๐—˜๐—ป๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ & ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜ƒ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ โ€“ Citric Acid enhances flavour and preserves foods. It also breaks down proteins found in meats, making the meat tender โ€“ great for marinating.

๐—•๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ต ๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐˜€ โ€“ A fun way to mineralise your body if you make them with Sodium Bicarbonate and Epsom Salt. The Citric Acid gives the wonderful bubbling, fizzing sensation as you soak.

๐—œ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—–๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด โ€“ If you live in an area with hard water, then detergents aren't working their best. The minerals in hard water (usually calcium and magnesium) prevent detergent from soaping up and sudsing properly. Citric Acid binds those minerals, allowing detergents to do their job. Often when the water is soft less detergent is needed.

๐—ช๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ผ๐˜„๐˜€ โ€“ to clean dirty windows blend a tablespoon of Citric Acid with a litre of water. Pour into a spray bottle, spray, wipe and hey presto!

Have you tried Citric Acid for any of these?

While magnesium oil is on sale, letโ€™s talk about why you might want to stock up on a few.

โšฝ Sport & training - spray magnesium straight onto tired muscles post-game/post-gym, before the drive home.
๐Ÿฅพ Walks & hikes - apply to tight calves or a niggling knee. No need to wait till you're home.
๐ŸŒ๏ธ Golf, tennis, pickleball - spraying it on between rounds can make all the difference.
๐Ÿš— In the car - you never know when headaches, cramps, niggles might crop up. Don't apply it while you're in charge of the vehicle!
๐Ÿ›Œ Beside your bed - the classic place to keep your bottle so you get into the habit of using it every night.

And, of course, make sure everyone in the family has their own bottle so there's no fighting over who had it last and where it is now!

If you like the idea of making your own bath bombs but canโ€™t be bothered with the faff, this is for you!

All the fun of a bath bomb without the moulds or drying time wait.

Ingredients
โ€ข 1 cup Epsom salt
โ€ข 0.5 cup baking soda
โ€ข 0.3 cup citric acid
โ€ข 10 drops essential oil (optional)
โ€ข 1 tsp carrier oil, e.g. almond or coconut oil (optional, for a moisturising touch)

1 Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.

2 Add scent (optional): If using, mix the 10 drops essential oil into the carrier oil first, then stir through the dry mix evenly.

3 Store in an airtight jar until ready to use.

To use: Run a warm bath, then add a scoop (roughly 1/2 to 1 cup) directly to the water. It will start fizzing straight away. Hop in and enjoy the sparkle โœจ

If your shower pressure's been getting weaker over time, it's likely limescale clogging the tiny nozzle holes - not a plumbing problem at all.

Quick fix with citric acid:
๐Ÿ› Dissolve 2โ€“3 tbsp citric acid in warm water
๐Ÿ› Pour into a bowl in the base of the shower
๐Ÿ› Leave the shower head in here for 30 minutes (longer for heavy build-up, even overnight)
๐Ÿ› Run the shower on hot for a minute to flush it out
๐Ÿ› Wipe over for a streak-free finish

No scrubbing, no disassembly, no fuss - just soak and rinse.

Avoid this method on showerheads with special finishes (brushed brass, certain coatings) without checking manufacturer guidance first, since acid can dull some finishes over repeated use.

Does the smell of shower cleaner make you feel sick, dizzy, or like you need to hold your breath while you clean?

That's not just you being sensitive - a lot of shower and bathroom cleaners contain harsh chemicals that genuinely aren't pleasant to breathe in, especially in a small, steamy, poorly ventilated bathroom.

Citric acid is a natural alternative that cuts through soap scum, limescale, and grime just as effectively. Without the overpowering fumes or that lightheaded feeling by the time you're done.

Clean shouldn't come at the cost of how you feel while you're doing it.

Speaking of cost - Citric Acid is one of your September specials - 20% off all sizes, while stocks last.

Tension headaches often start in the same place - tight shoulders and a clenched jaw that's been building all day without you noticing.

A few sprays of magnesium oil massaged into your neck, shoulders, and temples (avoiding your eyes) can help ease that physical tension before it turns into a full-blown headache.

It's not a cure, but for a lot of us, catching it early makes a real difference.

I now do this every evening before bed and experience much less tension and fewer headaches.

Itโ€™s a habit I got into a few months ago when I had a lot of pain on one side of my jaw, around the TMJ area. After a few nights of massaging magnesium oil gently into the area, the pain went away. But my routine stayed with me!

You can shop the link in our bio. Our September deal has already started! 20% off all single magnesium oil sprays โœจ
