This Women's Health Week (10–16 August), we're taking a moment to remind every wahine in our lives, including mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, aunties and friends, that your health matters, too. So often women put themselves last, quietly carrying the wellbeing of everyone around them. This week is a reminder that looking after yourself isn't selfish, it's essential.
Knowing which health checks are worth considering isn't always straightforward, especially as our needs change with age, life stage, and family history. That's where the right screening, at the right time, can make all the difference.
Backed by New Zealand's largest network of specialist radiologists, Auckland Radiology’s screening services help women make informed decisions about their health. We offer screening for breast, gynaecological, heart, bowel, bone and lung health, with recommendations tailored to your unique situation.
Every scan is reviewed by an experienced radiologist and recommended only when it's clinically appropriate.
If you're curious about what screening might be right for your stage of life, talk to your GP or specialist. Our services work alongside, not in place of, Health New Zealand's screening programmes.
