NZOHA Congress 2026 - what a weekend! 🦷✨

I wore a few different hats at Congress this year 🎩 🧢 👒 and I loved every minute of it!

🦷 Swiss Dental Academy Trainer 🇨🇭kicking things off helping with a hands-on Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) workshop. A massive thank you to Releaf and our friends from Aluro for supplying us with spot prizes for our sessions!

💜 Piksters Rep 🪥 spending two busy days on the trade floor, handing out hundreds of samples and chatting with so many familiar and new faces!

📚 Delegate 👩🏻‍⚕️squeezing in some fantastic lectures and learning from some of the best in our profession.

💰 And finally👩🏻‍💻officially stepping into my new role as NZOHA Treasurer!

Congress is always one of my favourite opportunities to reconnect with colleagues, friends and company reps from around New Zealand and overseas, there’s nothing quite like having so many people from our profession together in one place.

And this year felt extra special, with three associations coming together for the first time. Such a great weekend and an exciting glimpse of what the future could hold! 🤍

Lots of learning, lots of laughs, lots of catching up… and definitely a few different hats! 😂

I am incredibly honoured to be joining NZOHA as the incoming Treasurer. I’m looking forward to working alongside the executive team.

A massive thank you to Lizelle who has dedicated 9 years to the associations in various roles. I’m so grateful for everything she has contributed and for her generous support as I step into this new role.

I’m excited for the opportunity to challenge myself, support our profession, and to give back to our NZOHA members.🦷

A few incredible days spent upskilling, and expanding my knowledge, including a day focused on OHT’s & Hygienists with a hands on workshop by EMS on implant care and maintenance.

From inspiring speakers and thought provoking discussions to amazing food, networking, dancing, laughter, and reconnecting with friends old and new this congress was so much more than just learning.

I’m always grateful for the opportunities, the friendships, and the memories made along the way. Here’s to continually growing, collaborating, challenging ourselves, and striving to provide the very best care for our patients.

How is plaque (biofilm) like moss on a rock 🪨 ?
