🧠 World Alzheimer’s Month 2026: The Earlier You Know, The More You Can Do
September marks World Alzheimer’s Month - a global campaign raising awareness of dementia and challenging the stigma and discrimination that continue to affect people living with the condition.
This year’s theme, “The Earlier You Know, The More You Can Do: A Dementia Diagnosis Matters,” highlights the importance of timely diagnosis.
A diagnosis can help unlock access to treatment, care and support, while giving people living with dementia and their families the opportunity to plan, prepare and make informed decisions.
As research advances, earlier identification of people at risk and those in pre-symptomatic stages is also becoming an increasingly important area of investigation.
Throughout September, touchNEUROLOGY will be sharing clinical insights on Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
