A rib fracture on the slopes. A climbing fall gone wrong. A biking trip that came to an abrupt end. Dr. Kryskow has spent 20+ years treating chest wall trauma and high-impact injuries: the kind that happen when the body is pushed to its limits. What sets him apart isn't just his training. He's lived it.

Before bringing his skills into the operating room, Dr. Mark Kryskow trained and served as a military assault climber in the United States Army, specializing in technical mountaineering and ice ascents. That world demanded relentless preparation, technical mastery, decisive action, and calm under pressure…the same qualities that now define his approach to surgical care.

That's also why he co-founded the Regional Mountain Trauma System (RMTS) — connecting ski patrol, EMS, and trauma centers so mountain athletes get the right care as efficiently as possible. Dr. Kryskow treats his patients in a manner that is set apart, because he can relate to them.

📸 Meet Ethan

Ethan is passionate about helping brands, artists, and ideas find new light through visual storytelling. Blending a documentary eye with a marketer's mindset, he creates photo and video content that is both authentic and purposeful.

With et al., Ethan's work spans a diverse range of projects and environments. One day he may be filming a complex surgical approach, documenting a cadaver course or medical conference, or capturing a patient's story. The next, he may be traveling to the Peruvian Amazon to produce mission-driven content or creating social media features that showcase the people, partnerships, and purpose behind our work.

His versatility allows him to move between the clinical and creative worlds, translating complex medical expertise into compelling visual stories that educate, connect, and inspire.

When he's not working, you'll likely find him with a camera in hand, photographing everyday people, places, and moments. It's a practice that continually shapes how he sees the world and ultimately how he helps tell stories.

Cast your vote & help us shape Dr. Moreno's brand identity!

These concepts are not final—they're early creative directions, and we'd love your feedback before we continue refining. Please vote for your favorite between 1, 2, 3, or 4.

Every brand has a story. For years, Dr. Moreno's signature logo has featured a subtle elbow hidden within the letter M—a simple mark that has represented his journey from the very beginning.

Since then, that journey has grown far beyond a logo. What began as a platform centered on shoulder and elbow surgery has evolved to reflect education, innovation, mentorship, family, entrepreneurship, and a global community of colleagues, students, and patients.

We've had the privilege of partnering with Dr. Moreno to thoughtfully evolve his visual identity—not by leaving the past behind, but by building upon the foundation that has defined it.

For this first round, we're evaluating design only. Color, refinements, and additional iterations will come later. Each concept intentionally incorporates meaningful elements from Dr. Moreno's story, including:

• A crest representing heritage, family, community, and shared values.
• An evolution of his original M with the hidden elbow preserved.
• A broader shoulder and arm integrated into the mark, reflecting his specialty.
• A modern interpretation of the Tree of Andry, symbolizing restoration, education, mentorship, and growth, with roots representing the people and communities that have shaped his life and career.

• Additional layers of symbolism woven throughout each design.

Thank you for helping shape the next chapter of Dr. Moreno's story. More to come. 💪

Two stories that deserve to be told again and again.

Liam was born with a congenital limb deficiency and lived with pain every time he wore his prosthesis. Yet he arrived at our clinic with an unforgettable smile. After receiving the revision surgery he needed, Liam is now running, playing soccer, helping his mother, and living free from the pain that once shaped his daily life.

Rafaela was born with severe leg deformities that threatened her future. Through three corrective surgeries over several years, her legs were restored, her confidence renewed, and new possibilities began to unfold. Her own journey has inspired her to dream of becoming a doctor so she can one day serve others the way she continues to be served.

As you see Liam and Rafaela's stories, we hope you'll feel the heart behind this ministry to walk alongside families for the long haul.

If these stories resonate with you, we'd be honored to welcome you into our Miracle Workers Community through a recurring monthly gift of any amount.

Together, we can continue offering life-changing care and lasting hope to the next generation.

• A mountain biking accident left Erich with a severe scapula and chest wall injury.

• After 2 years of incomplete healing, he faced chronic pain and limited mobility.

• In 2023, he underwent an 8 hour reconstructive surgery.

• Dr. Cole and his team at the Scapula Institute realigned Erich’s collapsed ribs and reconstructed his shoulder blade using a bone graft.

• Recovery demanded a gritty PT process—one that Erich tackled head-on.

• Today, Erich is back to what he loves: strength training, rock climbing, and snowboarding.

• The surgery restored not only physical function, but also confidence and hope.
