This honest and vulnerable testimonial highlights this amazing and transformative experience our guest went through. He approached his work with Ayahuasca with deep respect and openness which allowed him to receive the full scope of healing. He embraced the physical purging allowing a thorough detox, revisited his past and released old traumas, connected with and healed his inner child, and received a new heart. Everyone's ayahuasca ceremonies are different and unique to them. Aya knows exactly what each person needs and what they are ready for her. Ayahuasca is such an intelligent plant spirit. Her mission is to help people heal and make them whole again. Working with this plant in a safe container where the participants are held with love, compassion and proper support will make this work successful and have long lasting benefits.

Our beautiful team of sisters is honored to welcome 14 courageous women into this year’s women’s retreat. Coming together from all corners of the world, these women will weave together a most potent sisterhood container, filled with healing, transformation, and self-empowerment. Our team could not be more excited to witness these powerful women stepping into their work with the sacred medicine. 🌱

They will be held and guided by two revered Maestras, Maria and Rosenda, whose presence and wisdom will anchor them through their ceremonies. We look forward to sharing more of what unfolds soon 🦋

Beginning in late June through the end of the year, we have volunteer and lead facilitator roles opening at Nimea Kaya. We are prioritizing positions that can be filled by those that are able to guide yoga and breathwork, lead sound healing journeys and guide meditation sessions.

We do give priority to past Nimea Kaya guests. Yet we are also accepting team members that have not attended prior that carry significant experience working with Ayahuasca.

We also have an opening for a lead facilitator. We are looking for someone that has been working with Ayahuasca for several years, has experience holding space for others in ceremonial settings and that has worked closely with indigenous lineages. Speaking Spanish fairly fluently is also required. There would be a training period required for this position.

We prefer our volunteer members to stay for a minimum of 2 months. This role can be extended into a 6 month period.

If you have interest in joining our team as a volunteer or facilitator, please reach out to us via the contact page of our website. The link is in our bio. Please know DMs.

Within the email, please tell us about yourself including your name, age, country you are from, about your past experience with Ayahuasca and any other plant medicines, self-development experience and any further information about your life's journey. Please include any websites or social media pages you currently have.

If it resonates, we will reply to coordinate a call over Zoom to speak further about the opportunity. 🌿🙏🦋

Ayahuasca can reach into the hearts of some of the most unexpected people. This gentleman never thought that he would come to a place like Nimea Kaya. Yet after his veteran son had experienced a retreat with us and was healed in incredible ways with Ayahuasca, his father thought it could also help him. After years of suppressing his emotions, he was able to step into a vulnerable place within the ceremonies and let the medicine work deeply with him. He took away new tools and resources that could help him step back into his life in a more balanced and embodied version of himself. It's beautiful to see the emotion he shared through working with the sacred plant medicine. 🌿🙏

Maestra Maria singing the 'Kene', the traditional Shipibo designs they create throughout their art. Maria embroidered this tapestry with this special design which can be seen in their Ayahuasca visions. The art of singing the 'Kene' is being lost within the shipibo culture. It is truly a blessing to be able to witness these wisdom holders carry the traditions within their family lineage. 🌿
