Helpful Tips for Managing Nappy Rash:

✔ Change nappies frequently
✔ Gently clean the area with warm water
✔ Avoid harsh soaps and heavily scented wipes
✔ Pat the skin dry, avoid rubbing
✔ Allow some nappy-free time for the skin to breathe
✔ Apply a barrier cream (such as zinc oxide and I highly recommend Vaseline/Petroleum Jelly) to protect the skin

When To Seek Medical Advice:

⚠ Rash becomes severe or spreads
⚠ Blisters, pus, or broken skin appear
⚠ Baby develops fever
⚠ Rash does not improve after a few days
⚠ Baby seems very uncomfortable or in pain

Dog Bite Prevention Tips.
- Ask first: When meeting an unfamiliar dog, don’t’ reach out to pet them, ask their parent first, “May I pet your dog?”
- Get Permission: With permission, let the dog sniff your closed hand, then pet their shoulders or chest.

What are antibiotics?

They are a class of medicines that can destroy or inhibit the growth of bacteria or similar microorganisms.

A classic example would be Amoxicillin.

While we are thankful for these drug discoveries, we must take note that antibiotics are losing their power because of overuse or misuse. The bacterias are getting smarter than humans; it's like we are waging war with an army of unseen enemies.

It is interesting to note that antibiotics are not only overused in the healthcare industry but also frequently used in veterinary and the agricultural industries.
