ALEOSAN DISTRICT HOSPITAL | HOSPITAL WEEK CELEBRATION 2026
August 10–15, 2026

A week filled with meaningful activities, camaraderie, service, and appreciation came to a successful close on August 15, 2026, marking the final day of the ALEOSAN District Hospital Hospital Week Celebration with the Theme: Juan Health For JuanNation: Makabagong Teknolohiya sa Hospital na Mapagkalinga.

The celebration brought together our hospital personnel through a series of activities that highlighted not only wellness and teamwork but also our commitment to serving the community.

🌟 Day 1 & Day 2 – Bazaar
The Hospital Week Celebration officially started with a fun and engaging bazaar, where hospital personnel participated and showcased their products and talents.

🌱 Day 3 – Medical Mission & Tree Planting
A Medical Mission was conducted at Sitio Miac-ac, Leon, Iloilo, combined with a meaningful tree-planting activity, extending the hospital's service beyond its walls while promoting environmental responsibility.

⛪ Day 4 – Holy Mass & Employee Appreciation Day
The day began with a Holy Mass, followed by an Employee Appreciation Day. Our personnel were treated to free vouchers for Toronto, ice cream, and drinks as a simple gesture of gratitude for their dedication and hard work.

🎬 Day 5 – Film Showing
Personnel enjoyed a film showing at the KOICA Area, providing an opportunity for relaxation, bonding, and fellowship among the ADH family.

🏃‍♀️ Day 6 – Fun Run, Zumba & Closing Program
The final day began with an energetic Fun Run, followed by an enjoyable Zumba session led by Zandos crew Iloilo headed by Zumba instructor Walter Demonteverde. A breakfast was also served to the participants.

The celebration culminated in a Closing Program, skillfully hosted by Dr. Mark Ianne Ang, where everyone gathered to celebrate the success of the week-long activities.

This memorable Hospital Week Celebration was made possible through the dedicated efforts of our PHU Coordinator, Dr. Michelle Carias, and the entire PHU Team, with the support and active participation of the ALEOSAN District Hospital family.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to everyone who contributed their time, effort, talents, and resources in making this celebration a success.

Today, ALEOSAN District Hospital successfully underwent the Assessment for the Epidemiology and Surveillance System (ESS).

August 10, 2026 | Hospital Week Celebration
First Day Activity – Hospital Bazaar 🏥❤️

ALEOSAN District Hospital officially kicked off its Hospital Week Celebration 2026 with a lively and meaningful Hospital Bazaar, participated in by our dedicated hospital personnel.

This activity was made possible through the initiative and efforts of our PHU Coordinator, Dr. Michelle Carias, together with the PHU Committee, with the full support of our Chief of Hospital II, Dr. Cherubim C. Estrellanes, and the entire ADH personnel.

Beyond the fun and camaraderie, the bazaar provided an opportunity for our hospital family to come together, showcase their creativity and talents, and strengthen teamwork and fellowship among our personnel.

May this Hospital Week celebration remind us that every service, every act of kindness, and every patient we care for makes a difference.

First Day Activity – Holy Mass and Program

The Hospital Week Celebration 2026 officially commenced with a Holy Mass held at the Iloilo Provincial Capitol, bringing together hospital personnel from the different district hospitals of the Iloilo Provincial Government.

The celebration was attended by hospital personnel from the 13 Provincial District Hospitals, under the leadership and guidance of the Hospital Management Office, headed by Atty. Yoko Marie A. Eguia.

ALEOSAN District Hospital (ADH) proudly participated in this meaningful activity, headed by our Chief of Hospital II, Dr. Cherubim C. Estrellanes, together with the dedicated and committed ADH personnel.

The Holy Mass served as an opportunity to offer prayers of thanksgiving for the continued blessings, protection, and guidance bestowed upon our healthcare workers and our hospitals. It also reminded us of our shared commitment to serving the people of Iloilo with compassion, excellence, and dedication.

As we begin this year’s Hospital Week celebration, may we continue to work together as one healthcare family, united in our mission to provide safe, quality, accessible, and compassionate healthcare services to every patient we serve.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Training
A 2-Day Training Program

ALEOSAN District Hospital successfully commenced its two-day Basic Life Support (BLS) Training at the PHU Building. This activity was conducted in coordination with the Hospital Management Office, the Department of Health, and the Iloilo Team of Trainors headed by Sir Ian Vincent Libanan, together with Sir Kent Angelo Camacho, Sir Litzel Lorenz Ferrariz, and Ma'am Krisha Eloisa Gumban.

The ADH Family expresses its heartfelt gratitude to our distinguished trainers for generously sharing their knowledge, expertise, and valuable time. Your dedication in equipping our healthcare workers with life-saving skills is truly appreciated.

This training strengthens the competence and preparedness of our healthcare professionals, enabling us to provide safe, prompt, and high-quality care to our patients and to every individual who may need emergency assistance.

ALEOSAN District Hospital proudly celebrated Diabetes Awareness Week 2026 with the theme, "Hawak-Kamay Nating Tugunan ang Hamon ng Diabetes."

In line with this observance, our hospital successfully conducted a meaningful program through the dedicated efforts of our dynamic PHU Coordinator, Dr. Michelle Carias, and Diabetes Program Coordinator, Ms. Jinn Kristy Eslana.

This activity was made possible with the full support and leadership of our Chief of Hospital II, Dr. Cherubim C. Estrellanes; Administrative Officer V, Ms. Cristina A. Oberio; and Chief Nurse, Ma. Azucena A. Lamigo.

The celebration featured a health education program, free laboratory testing, diabetes counseling, and wellness activities for participants who attended, promoting early detection, proper disease management, and the adoption of healthier lifestyles.
