Today marks the official closure of Vaxhive Animal Bite Center – Dagatan, Amadeo.

This is one of the hardest announcements we’ve had to make. From day one, our goal was simple — to provide quality and immediate care for those in need of anti-rabies treatment and animal bite management. Every patient we served, every family we helped, every single person we met meant everything to us.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who trusted and supported us — our patients, friends, and all who believed in our mission.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to cease operations effective today. While this chapter has come to an end, we carry with us the lessons, experiences, and memories that will always be part of our journey.

For any concerns or inquiries, you may still message this page, and we will do our best to respond.

Thank you so much. We are extremely grateful for the trust you have given us. Serving you through our small and humble Vaxhive Animal Bite Center has been one of the most meaningful experiences for us. We highly appreciate all the patients we’ve had the privilege to serve.

At this time, we are continuously working to improve our clinic. Our operations may vary in the coming days, but whenever you see us open (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, sometimes up to 9:00 PM), please know that you are always welcome.

Ang ERIG (Equine Rabies Immunoglobulin) ay isang gamot galing sa kabayo. Ito ay agad-agad nagbibigay ng proteksyon laban sa rabies, habang kinukumpleto mo ang mga dose mo ng anti-rabies vaccine.

Nagsisimula ang epekto ng anti-rabies vaccine sa loob ng 7 to 14 days, habang ang ERIG ay agad-agad ang epekto.

💉Paano ginagamit ang ERIG?

Ito ay ini-infiltrate (ini-inject) sa paligid ng kagat o kalmot para labanan kaagad ang rabies virus.

💉Sino ang mga dapat mabigyan ng ERIG?

Ang mga Category III na patient.

1. Nakagat o nakalmot sa ULO, LEEG, KAMAY, PAA, ARI

2. Nakagat o nakalmot na kusang nagdugo

3. Nakagat o nakalmot ng STRAY o galang hayop.

4. Lahat ng mga immunosuppressed na patient

5. Kumain ng a*o o pusa na hindi alam ang history ng hayop, kung malinis (malusog) o marumi (may sakit).

💉Naturukan na ako noon ng anti-rabies, kailangan ko pa ba ng ERIG?

Kung nakumpleto mo noon ang lahat ng dose ng anti-rabies at may patunay o record ka na nagsasabing kumpleto ka, hindi na kailangan ng ERIG (case-to-case basis).

We’ve been temporarily closed since November 3 up to today, November 5 due to some challenges and the recent bad weather. 💔🌧️
