God our loving Father,
we turn to You in our distress.
For days now, rains have poured,
winds have raged, and floods have risen,
causing damage, fear, and suffering
in our communities. We beg You, Lord, calm the storms, stop the rains,
and protect us from harm. Forgive us
for our neglect of Your creation.
Teach us to care for the earth and
for one another with wisdom and love.

Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary,

Cover our families with your mantle
of protection. Console those affected
by floods, and strengthen all who serve and rescue those in need.
