Our 𝐌𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐞𝐲 is not just a professor. She is a 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬, yet she continues to walk alongside us as our mentor, guiding us even to this day.

Mom Sey, you are the perpetual cornerstone of the Department of Pharmacy here at AUF—the leading light who braced our pharmacists into life’s challenges as a health care proletarian. Your testament as a pharmacist were not mere stories told during your classes, but they became accounts of growth, learning, and success that guided our instructors and us, your aspiring pharmacists in the future. Your deep fortitude, empathy, and belief in our potential will be forever imprinted in our hearts, as gratitude for your effort.

𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿. 🌎💊

Pharmacy may begin with medicines, but its possibilities certainly don’t end there.

Our first-year 𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 recently took a global deep-dive during their Perspectives in Pharmacy course for an internationalization initiative seminar titled "Beyond the Medication: The Role of an Emergency Department Clinical Pharmacist in the US".

Special guest speaker 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐁𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧 shared invaluable insights—from mapping diverse career tracks to comparing international practice standards, the future of healthcare is looking brighter than ever! 💊🔥

Because sometimes, learning about Pharmacy is not just about asking, “𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘦?” but also, “𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘗𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘺 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦?” 👀

From the Philippines to the US, different practices may come with different systems, roles, and experiences, but the heart of being a Pharmacist remains rooted in knowledge, collaboration, and patient care.

And perhaps that’s the beauty of discovering Pharmacy early- the path ahead may be far wider than we first imagined. ✨
